With names such as Sandy Cove, and West Bay Park and hard-to-find places such as Stearman Beach, sandy beaches and stunning views of Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park and cruise ships sailing by are par-for-the-course for residents in West Vancouver Waterfront West. Speaking of golf, the nearby par 35 Gleneagles Golf Course has been voted one of Canadian Golf Course magazine’s best 9-hole tracks in the country. The most famous attraction in this part of West Van is the oft-photographed Point Atkinson Lighthouse at Lighthouse Park, in operation since 1875 and a National Historic Site. McKechnie Park located in the Sandy Cove neighbourhood is a large forested area with numerous off-leash trails and tennis courts. Parking is available on the street from two white markers on either side of the home. While parking on the street, please park as close to the curb as possible, as it is a small street.
The paddleboards are available for guests to use. In order to get to the beaches, walk down Sunset Lane, cross the street and you will see pedestrian paths that lead directly to the beaches.
