Sampsons boasts a plethora of characterful features, including a wood burning stove, exposed wooden beams and a lovely Aga. There's also a sun-soaked patio area with outdoor furniture, a tranquil pond and chimenea to keep you toasty.
The cosy sitting room invites you to unwind after exploring the wonders of Dartmoor National Park, with large windows allowing natural light to fill the space with ease, comfy sofas, a television and warming wood burning stove. The kitchen oozes with countryside charm, providing everything you'll need during your stay, including a characterful aga. The large table invites you to dine as a family, with seating for up to eight guests. Here, you also have direct access to your sunny patio area. A separate WC and utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer completes the ground floor.
Retreat up to the first floor, where three beautifully presented bedrooms await. Bedroom one hosts a sumptuous double bed adorned with soft linens and has the added opulence of an en-suite bathroom. Continue to bedroom two, where another comfy double bed awaits and natural light seeps through the lovely velux window. Bedroom three is light and spacious, housing twin single beds. Finally, the family bathroom is beautifully appointed, completed with a bath with shower over, WC and wash basin.
Access from the kitchen leads you directly to your tranquil courtyard, perfect for alfresco feasting with a lovely picnic bench. Steps lead you to the upper garden area, offering plenty of spots to soak up the Devonshire sunshine. Sip your morning brew beside the peaceful pond, then as dusk falls, light the chimenea and stay cosy under starlight. Please note, the pond is uncovered so be sure to supervise children at all times.
