About this property
Nyth Glan Y Mor - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 4
This appealing bungalow sleeping four guests is a perfect base for exploring the scenic delights of the magnificent North Wales coast and country. Ideal for a family or friends sharing, the holiday home has access to the footpath to stroll down to pretty Aberdovey (0.25 miles). The village has a good range of shops, cafes and restaurants, while its vast expanse of sheltered, golden sands is a favourite for swimming, paddleboarding and water sports galore. You can walk for miles along the Welsh Coast Path, with glorious views all the way and take a boat trip from the picturesque harbour around Cardigan Bay, against a spectacular backdrop of the distant Snowdonia mountains. From Tywyn (4 miles) hop on board the historic Talyllyn steam railway for a journey through glorious scenery. Hop off at Dolgoch station to see the famous waterfalls and rejoin the train to the terminus at Abergynolwyn. From here you can explore mountain trails at the tip of the Snowdonia National Park.
A floor-to-ceiling picture window in the bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner living space is a major feature of this stylishly furnished property. You can drink in the panoramic vista of sea and mountains whether relaxing on comfortable seating in front of the Smart TV, cooking up a storm in the kitchen area or planning tomorrow’s adventures around the dining table. Glass doors opening onto a charming, paved balcony enhance the light and airy interior. Underfloor heating adds a cosy touch on chilly nights and visiting canines have their own special platform for their comfort. Sleep well after a beach day or exhilarating hike in two lovely bedrooms, a double and a twin, designed with comfort in mind. A sleek contemporary wet room completes the layout of this charming, year-round retreat.
The balcony has outdoor furniture and is perfectly placed for a drink or meal as you embrace the changing views from sunrise to sunset over Aberdovey. For the safety of little ones, the balcony can be enclosed with a retractable toddler/dog gate. There is also a garden below, with grass, offering a peaceful retreat for a quiet read.
