The Space:
The Eskape is a dog friendly, bright, modern apartment located just a short stroll from Whitby Harbour. Benefiting from on-site, secure parking and a private outdoor seating area, two of the most sought after features of a Whitby holiday home.
The apartment features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The floor to ceiling windows allow the light to flood this space.
The living area features a duo of two seater sofas, a glass coffee table and a flat screen TV. The dining table and chairs sit neatly in the bay window, looking out towards the harbour. This space is perfect for enjoying a cosy night in or a delicious brunch while watching the world go by.
The compact kitchen features a ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and a dishwasher. Whether you’re staying for a weekend break or a week long stay, The Eskape has everything you will need to feel at home.
The master bedroom features a king size bed with fabric, studded headboard, wooden, floating bedside shelves and a free standing chest of drawers. The bedroom features double doors which open out into the private garden area.
The second bedroom is also home to a king size bed, large mirrored wardrobes, two matching bedside tables and lamps. With crisp white bed linen and sunshine yellow cushions this room is simplistic and inviting.
The private patio area, accessed from the master bedroom has a dining set, suitable for four people and wooden benches if you’re looking for a more relaxed spot to sit and enjoy.
Please note the apartment is located on the ground floor of the building with 12 steps from the street to the entrance. There is one allocated parking space for the apartment which is in a secure car park underneath the apartment complex.

Whitby oozes nostalgic charm. With a beautiful Blue Flag beach and fish restaurants renowned for their catch of the day, Whitby is the perfect place for a seaside getaway. Behind all of the quintessential seaside glamour though lies a town brimming with history.
On the East bank which is full of narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Drive just a few minutes along the coast and you'll find Whitby Golf Club and the very popular, dog-friendly Sandsend beach with its beautiful, safe and clean sands, café’s and a local pub.
If you're looking for some peaceful walks out of town then head to the countryside and explore its many scenic walking routes and delicious country pubs.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. In particular, Dalby Forest and Guisborough Forest are a short drive away and have various beautiful walking and cycling routes to explore, as well as picnic areas and segways. Ideal for dog walkers too. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around:
There is free private parking at the apartment, but you don’t need to have a car to enjoy staying here as it’s such a short walk to the town centre, Whitby harbour and to the train station. Villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
