The Space:
This is a well decorated twin room at the rear of the building. The room has all new décor and a new ensuite shower room. This is one of the value rooms due to being at the rear of the building and having no sea views.

This first floor room is great for two friends and perfect for short stays. It can be used along with Egton Bridge, Glaisdale or Lealholm if you need an extra family room for teenagers or other friends or family members.

The shower room comes with shower, WC and wash basin.

Guests have access to the Sandbeck and all its amenities including the outside BBQ Area, guest laundry and games cupboard.

The room keys are in a key lock box in the hall.

Danby at the Sandbeck is located on the first floor. There is a lift to all floors.

Parking is on-street via a scratch card that can be purchased on site.

The Neighborhood:
The Sandbeck is on the seafront of Whitby’s West Cliff. It is in a central location for the beach, harbour and many of Whitby’s attractions. It is a short walk to Captain Cook’s Monument and the Famous Whalebones overlooking the harbour.

Walk a little further and down the Khyber Pass steps and you’ll be at the harbour and the quayside with all its amusements, cafes, bars and famous fish and chips shops and restaurants. Alternatively take a stroll along the West Pier and look back at your accommodation on the West Cliff.

To the front is the path down to the Blue Flag West Cliff beach and the Whitby Pavilion with its many events.

The town centre and all its shops, cafes and restaurants are close by.
