Angus Vacation Holiday Home
This holiday home has a galley style kitchen which is well equipped with everything you’ll need for your holiday. It has an open plan diner and lounge with TV and DVD player. There is a family shower room and an en suite W.C. in the master bedroom. Outside you can sit back, relax and enjoy your stay from your own private, gated deck with picnic table.. Set amidst the Angus Glens and the traditional Scottish heather clad moorlands, this tranquil David Bellamy Gold award winning park has its own 20 acres of private woodland walks and features a stunning pond. It is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
On site facilities include a football field, an enclosed play park and a golf practice net. There is a BBQ hut available for private hire which can accommodate groups of up to 10 at a time. There are four great golf courses within a short drive – discounted course rates are available at reception.
There is an abundance of walking in the surrounding countryside along with a multitude of country sports such as fishing, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting.
An array of castles and stately homes, including Glamis Castle and the world renowned Balmoral Castle and Estate, await nearby, together with quaint villages and magnificent distilleries. Kirriemuir, the birthplace of Peter Pan’s JM. Barrie, lies 20 minutes away with its ’Neverland’ play park and camera obscure. Dundee and Perth are both half an hour away with great swimming pools and plenty of shops, attractions and restaurants.
Closer to the park in Alyth there are a selection of great restaurants, cafes and local shops, including several supermarkets, a butchers and an outdoor activities base.. Please note: on arrival you will be required to pay a £50 CASH DAMAGE/HOUSEKEEPING DEPOSIT, this will be returned upon inspection of the property on departure when keys are returned.
This park will accept a maximum of one dog per booking in the Angus Caravan and Lintrathen Lodge only. Please be advised that in accommodation where dogs are permitted, they must not be left unattended in the accommodation at any time.
