A spacious one bed in the fantastic location of Burton Road, West Didsbury, just a few steps to the tram (pink line) into central Manchester, and with lots of wonderful cafes, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We thoroughly recommend the Old Bakery cafe for breakfast and the Lebanese/Palestinian restaurant Zena for dinner.
It's an area we stay in often, though this was our first time in this property. It has a modern kitchen and is generally nicely furnished, if somewhat sparcely (no bedroom dressing table for hair drying, for example). It's a little faded though, with signs of needing some TLC in some rooms and areas.
Being on the main road, it's a bit noisy at night and early mornings. Ear plugs recommended for light sleepers!
Getting in was tricky as it was dark and the key box isn't easy to access for short people!
Tip: If travelling by train, it's nearer (and cheaper by cab) to go to Stockport rather than Manchester Picadilly.
This was the third time we stayed at this apartment. The check-in process is always easy. The property is in very good condition and very comfortable. It is in a lovely neighborhood with lots of restaurants and two grocery stores. Travel into Manchester proper is very easy, either by the Tram or by buses that are just up the street.
This is a lovely flat located in a great neighborhood just beyond the city. The flat is a short walk to the Burton Road tram stop and then about 15 minutes into Piccadilly Gardens. The 111 bus is at the doorstep and also 15-20 minutes to the museums and universities. West Didsbury also has a number of good restaurants. If you’re catering in, there is a Co-op just about a block away.
Très satisfaisant. Qualité de l'aménagement, tant sur le plan pratique qu'esthétique et très bien situé pour le tramway.
Pour notre prochain séjour à Manchester, on ne veut pas autre chose, c'est idéal.
Pros: Lovely and clean flat with fluffy towels, big shower room, beautiful furniture and a nice cosy feel. Convenient location near shops and restaurants. Few minutes walk from the tram with off street parking. Good communication from owner.
Cons: Unfortunately quite noisy being on the high street and ground floor. A few minor bits of maintenance need attending to.
Very good property. Very clean and close to all amenities.
Will use again.

Great flat in a fabulous location.
Very modern flat, bright and welcoming. Nice big fridge and all mod cons in the kitchen. Perhaps a blind in the kitchen and bathroom would be a welcome addition. Large and airy bedroom, we enjoyed our stay in this neighbourhood, excellent location for visiting friends and visiting Manchester’s attractions, with lots of bars and restaurants in the area.
Caroline’s instructions for location and transport were very good, and our deposit was returned promptly.
