Important notes
In the Balearic Islands there is a tourist tax, called Ecotasa, which has to be paid for every guest over 16 years of age.
Per day and person, the tax is
from 1 November to 30 April: 0,55 euros and
from 1 May to 31 October: 2,20 euros.
From the ninth night onwards, this amount is reduced by half. The Ecotasa can be paid by credit card, bank transfer or cash. Payment is compulsory.

The lively Puerto Alcúdia with its harbour promenade and the beautiful old town of Alcúdia can be reached by car or bus directly from the main road in just a few minutes. The old fishing port, where you can buy freshly caught fish, is definitely worth a visit.Along the modern marina, a beautiful waterfront promenade has been created, which is a pedestrian zone inviting you to stroll under palm trees. Very good restaurants, bars and various shops offer a variety of Mediterranean specialities and international dishes as well as good shopping opportunities.
A short 25-minute walk will take you to the old town of Alcudia, which has become very popular in recent years and is one of the most beautiful on the island. The old town is surrounded by a wall and the interior is full of terraces, cafés, shops, shops of all kinds, where you can experience the true spirit of Mallorca.
