Swan's Nest - Hike & Bike Breckenridge

This elegant condo is nestled in a quiet valley on the Swan River surrounded by beautiful mountain and wooded views. The complex is centrally located between Frisco and Breckenridge - two quaint towns where you’ll find plenty to see and do. This home boasts a fireplace and direct access out the back door for a hike on the Colorado Trail, bike, walk along the river, or spend the day fishing. There is also a newly remodeled community hot tub available for guests to use!

The Space:
You’ll feel right at home in this tastefully decorated, 2 bedroom condo with room for up to 6 guests. The living room is inviting with plush furniture, large windows, a flat screen TV and gas fireplace. Granite tile counters and stainless steel appliances await you in the fully-equipped kitchen, with the beautiful dining area sharing the open-concept space. In warmer weather, the walk-out patio with gas grill is perfect for dining al fresco and includes a lawn area backing up to the forest.

The unit has its own washer and dryer, and there’s room for one vehicle in the attached, one-car garage, with outdoor parking for one additional vehicle.

Please note that like most homes in Breckenridge, we do not have A/C.

Guest Access:
Just outside the living area, there’s a peaceful walk-out patio area with a gas grill and lawn area backing up to the forest. You’ll also love the attached one-car garage (compact car and a real plus on snowy days); there’s also outdoor parking for another vehicle. Other amenities include an in-unit washer/dryer. Swan's Nest has a community hot tub as well.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

The Neighborhood:
Centrally located between the towns of Frisco and Breckenridge -- approximately 5 miles to each town. A path for the Colorado Trail (North and Middle Forks of the Swan River) is out the back door. This 500 mile long trail travels through the spectacular Colorado Rocky Mountains amongst peaks with lakes, creeks and diverse ecosystems. Fishing, biking and walking trails give you numerous options for taking in the beauty of the area. The free Summit Stage bus is a 5 minute walk away and offers free public bus service throughout Summit County, Colorado, including lodging, town centers, retail areas, medical centers, and some residential areas.

Getting Around:
Short 10-minute walk to the bus stop or Uber is a great option!

Other Things to Note:
Please provide an accurate guest count prior to booking. Rates vary throughout the week and season and by number of guests. It's important that your guest count is accurate so we can be sure the home is adequately prepared and stocked for your stay.

Due to COVID all shared areas such as the pool and hot tub are closed until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

• 50% of payment is due upfront and the rest of the payment is due (14) days before arrival.

• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.

Comfy beds, loved the outdoor jacuzzi, and a short drive to Breck. Washer/ dryer in unit was awesome to have! It seems there’s a path out back to a sledding area, but we didn’t use it. Overall great stay!

Great Place to stay!
This property was clean and very nice! It is worth the few minute drive. It has basically everything you would need for your stay. Full kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and even a garage! I would defiantly stay at this property again.

Great Condo with trails out the front door
Comfortable condo in a great location - we especially enjoyed hiking the trails directly from the property and sitting out on the balcony watching the hummingbirds. Very clean, easy check-in and check-out, everything matched the property description well.

Small things that don’t make this condo a 5/5. The matresses are old, and looks dirty, as well as the pillows and sheets. The condo has a nice and well equiped kitchen. The livingroom is ok, with a nice fireplace, but the sofás can be updated.

Maintenance Issues
There were cob webs on the lamp shades in the master bedroom. The toilet paper holder in the master bath was only 1/2 there. The roll kept falling off. The drain stop for the sink in the master bath was broken. The top plug in the receptacle on the window side of the bed in the master bedroom was dead. I came in late Thursday afternoon to an intermittent beeping sound. Repair man came at 9:30 which was the promised time but I was unable to attend an important social function as it was too late by the time he left. The beeping was caused by a faulty CO2 detector. .

Super nice for a small group and a great little place if you don’t want to stay in either town and want to have easy access to Breckenridge as well as Keystone! Great with a car, tough to get Uber’s though sometimes

Perfect location to enjoy all the nearby cities
I received quick responses to any questions I had. The home is in the perfect location to visit several areas around it. The condo itself is wonderful. It is spacious, well decorated, and has beautiful views out the master and frontroom deck. The bed in the master is comfortable, but the pillows should be replaced. The set-up is great for even larger groups, but if looking to cook, would need to buy even the minimal supplies as there isn't much in the kitchen. Towels and lovely hygiene products are provided. The unit also has a garage included, but won't fit larger vehicles (I drive an Avalanche and the truck didn't fit). There is also a parking pass included though, so no issue with parking. The unit is also on the 3rd floor, so be prepared to carry luggage up and remember the change in altitude. In all, I truly enjoyed my relaxing stay in this wonderful place, and would definitely rent it again.
