About this property
Ship Cottage - Reedham
Located in the charming village of Reedham, this lovely cottage is ideally placed for local amenities as well as exploring Norfolk's renowned coast and countryside. Head from the property and down to the river, where guests can enjoy seasonal fishing (with a valid license) or take a leisurely stroll along the water's edge and birdwatch with binoculars. A visit to Norfolk wouldn't be complete without exploring the waterways of the Norfolk Broads. The boat hire in Wroxham (16 miles) is open daily and the area boasts some excellent eateries, shops and river trips. Children will be thoroughly entertained by the attractions available, including Petits Animal and Adventure Park, just 1 mile from the cottage, and the BeWILDerwood Tree Top Adventure Park, which is 18 miles away. Alternatively, spend an afternoon in the amusements at Great Yarmouth's traditional seaside resort, which also hosts a famous beach, a 9-acre amusement park, late-night bars, and several restaurants that are sure to suit all tastes.
Stepping inside, you are immediately welcomed by the warm embrace of open-plan living. The rustic beams and warm tones dominate this inviting room, creating a tranquil spot to chat with loved ones or catch up with your favourite TV programmes. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with bespoke handcrafted cabinets, a large preparation island and all the appliances you could need for even the most complicated dishes. Once you've explored culinary creativity, serve your food around the four-seater dining table, where you can admire waterside views from the many picture-book windows. Also, you'll find a handy utility and a stylish shower room on this floor. The emperor and cabin bedrooms share the first floor and have been lovingly designed with comfort and style in mind. Begin each morning with a soak in the en-suite bath, where you'll get a superb river view, before retiring to the sunroom for a few moments with an encapsulating novel.
Outside, unwind on the balcony, where you'll find a table and chairs to enjoy these terrific views or while away the hours out in the enclosed garden. You'll also find furniture here, too, so visitors can admire the glorious garden while dining. There is private parking for one car.
