“45 Eskin Street”

We recently had the pleasure of spending an enchanting weekend at “45 Eskin Street”, and it exceeded all our expectations. The cottage itself is a perfect blend of comfort and charm. The spacious layout comfortably accommodates large families or groups of friends, with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests. The kitchen was a particular highlight - comprehensively equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to elaborate dinner preparations, making our stay feel genuinely homely. The location is simply perfect. Within minutes, you can stroll to all of Keswick's attractions - the serene lake, verdant parks, and the bustling high street with its array of shops and restaurants. Such was the convenience that we only used our car once, for a trip to explore the magnificent surrounding mountains. Special thanks to the attentive owners who helped make our stay so memorable. “45 Eskin Street “has certainly become our go-to accommodation in the Lake District, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful house, amazing location

We stayed at the house for a weekend away walking in the lakes. The house is so beautiful and straightaway we felt comfortable and very “at home”. It is really well appointed with all appliances and equipment you could need in the kitchen. It was sparkling clean and the photos just don’t do justice to the luxury of the bedding/ decor provided. It is really spacious with huge bedrooms and bathrooms and a lovely large lounge/ diner which was perfect for evening meals and getting cosy in front of the fire after a day walking. Being right in the centre of Keswick, it was also perfect for enjoying the many cafes, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Thank you so much for providing the perfect location to rest and recharge!

A delightful home from home

We often choose to go to the lakes, and for the past five or so years, 45 Eskin St has been our choice twice a year. In the summer, a lovely patio catches the afternoon sun, and an easy stroll into town and back a few times a day is possible. The house has a lively selection of bedrooms with comfortable beds, space to unpack, and a lovely lounge to relax in with a small log burner to keep you extra cosy. The kitchen has almost everything we have at home, making the stay great. Parking can be a tad awkward, but we've always parked within a one minute walk of the house if there isn't a space outside. A go to if we want a break!!

Lovely accommodation in a great location

A fantastic place to stay whilst we were in the lakes. Quiet residential area with free on street parking, yet only a few mins walk from the town centre for shops and restaurants. Accommodation was spotless, and place was well equipped. It worked really well for our two families staying there. Would definitely stay again if in the area, which I’m sure we will be. There was lots to do in and around Keswick for young families. Would recommend booking restaurants in advance - many nice options but the best spots book out quickly!

Perfect

Wow! This place is awesome. Perfect location: just a short walk into the centre of Keswick, where there are plenty of pubs and places to eat and a large Booth’s (top quality supermarket). The cinema is just a short walk from the house and is an absolute gem (old style and independent). We also appreciated being able to walk up onto the fells without having to get in the car and had the most magical walk up Walla Crag with its bewitching view over Derwentwater. The house is so comfortable, clean and spacious with a very well-equipped kitchen. Superb bathrooms and the beds are really comfy. We’ll be back!
