With 4 ski areas in the vicinity, including the family ski area of Sankt Lambrecht with 12 kilometers of slopes, 9 lifts and a new fast gondola lift within walking distance, you can enjoy the charm of every mountain. Within the Murau region you can enjoy various other ski areas, including the Kreischberg/Murau ski area with 42 kilometers of slopes, the Turracher Höhe ski area with 43 kilometers of slopes and the Lachtal ski area with 35 kilometers of slopes.

In summer and winter you can take long walks, swim or fish in the nearby lakes such as the Auerlingsee, Furtner Teich and Pabstin Teich. In addition, you can enjoy beautiful walks at the nearby waterfalls called Günster and Graggerschlucht.

A visit to the Abbey of Sankt Lambrecht, one of the oldest monasteries in Austria, and the old town of Murau, full of shops and cozy terraces, are definitely worthwhile. And the Red Bull Ring (Spielberg) is only half an hour's drive away.
