About this property
Llyndy Isaf - Four Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
Nestled in the heart of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), this National Trust farmhouse is an idyllic retreat for friends or family seeking tranquillity and adventure. Set on a 600-acre hill farm surrounded by meadows and offering stunning views over Llyn Dinas, the farmhouse is the perfect base to relax or embrace the natural beauty and activities of the Nant Gwynant Valley. Nature lovers and walkers will find themselves spoiled for choice. For those seeking a challenge, the Watkin Path can be joined 1 mile from the house and is renowned as the most challenging yet most rewarding route to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The nearby village of Beddgelert, a 3-mile drive or scenic walk away, offers riverside strolls, cosy pubs, tempting cafes, and the Welsh Highland Railway station, where you can enjoy a heritage train journey through breath-taking landscapes. Arrive to the sight of a picturesque lake and park up to begin your countryside retreat.
Start your day in the well-equipped kitchen, perfect for crafting hearty breakfasts using local produce from the village. Gather around the spacious table in the inviting dining room, where a wood burner adds warmth and charm, and French doors frame breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape. After a day of adventure, return to the cosy lounge, light the wood burner, sink into the plush sofas, and unwind with a film on the Smart TV. Feeling competitive? Head to the nearby games barn for air hockey, a pool table, or table tennis. When it’s time to rest, retreat upstairs to one of four beautifully appointed bedrooms—two king-size and two doubles—each offering a haven of comfort. Refresh in the stylish bathroom with the choice of a leisurely soak in the bath or a refreshing shower.
Enjoy your morning coffee out front, or dine alfresco in the side garden with its traditional stone walls. There’s even a covered store for bikes and paddleboards, as well as private parking for two cars. For your complete privacy, the owner resides in a separate wing of the property, ensuring you have your own space and peace of mind during your stay.
