About this property
Ringmore House - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
This gorgeous period home in the heart of Salcombe offers comfortable and stylish accommodation for groups and families of up to seven guests. It’s just 100 metres from the pretty estuary, where you’ll find boutique shops, cosy cafés and waterfront restaurants to tempt you. Sample Salcombe's local delights of Gin & Chocolate. Families can have fun 'crabbing' close by. Enjoy sunny days at one of two local beaches, North Sands and South Sands, both 1 mile away – ideal for paddling and water sports like paddleboarding and kayaking. For a little adventure, hop on a boat across the estuary to East Portlemouth (1 mile) and uncover pretty secluded coves along the coast. If scenic walks are your thing, join the South West Coast Path (1 mile) and follow routes like the Salcombe to Bolt Head Walk, a 3-mile route excursion weaving through rocky spires and dramatic coastal landscapes. History lovers will cherish a visit to Overbecks Museum and Garden (2 miles), once home to an eccentric inventor and now a museum with quirky exhibits and spectacular estuary views. Children in your party will surely appreciate a day out at Woodlands Theme Park (15 miles).
On arrival, step inside and leave your shoes in the limestone floor hallway before heading upstairs to the heart of this charming home. On the first floor, you’ll have a bright and airy kitchen/diner with views over the lively town below. The spacious lounge invites you to sink into plush sofas, soak up the scenery through huge windows, or draw the curtains and unwind with a good dose of the Smart TV. Nearby is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and heated towel rail, while across the hall, a king-size bedroom boasts lovely estuary views. Upstairs, the second floor has two more bedrooms: a twin room and a generous family room with a king-size bed and an additional single. A centrally positioned bathroom with a bath and WC serves this floor.
