About this property
Idyllic Cabin in Lillesand/fantastic ocean view
Welcome to this idyllic place, which is nestled secludedly on the southeast side of Justøya, facing the sea.
Justøya is a kind of larger version of "Saltkråkan" island; some permanent residents, some cottages, some farming and with the incredibly charming village of Brekkestø at the southern end of the island.
Justøya is approx. 12 minutes by car from Lillesand, which has all facilities and an active center with many summer activities.
It is about 20 minutes to drive to the zoo and Sørlandssenteret, and about 25 minutes to Kristiansand.
In Kristiansand, there is a wide range of shopping and other activities, such as a climbing park, large swimming facilities, climbing walls, cycle paths, etc.
About 4 hours by car from Oslo (new E18 shortens this journey time) and about 4 hours from Stavanger
There is a daily boat from Lillesand and Kristiansand to Brekkestø. The cabin is located approx. a 40 minute drive away from Arendal.
Justøya itself is a lush, varied and beautiful island, with many dirt roads and paths.
There you can go for walks, pick blueberries and raspberries, jog or go mountain biking.
There are also several boulder spots, and an outdoor bolted climbing wall with a few routes (Saltvika).
The archipelago is a dream, with numerous islets, small coves, lovely secluded beaches, and delightful sheltered spots where you can sunbathe on the clean-cut rocks. It's a haven for kayakers, and fishermen since the fish bite frequently. You can fish for crabs, but you can also purchase fresh seafood directly from boats in Lillesand and Brekkestø.
The cabin is about 70m2 and is located on Skipperheia. This is a hill that sticks out between two bays roughly in the middle of Justøya, towards the sea.
On the inside of the island begins the charming Blindleia, which guides boat traffic between islets from Lillesand and almost all the way to Kristiansand.
There are around 25 cabins at Skipperheia, which is an inviting and child-friendly place.
The cabin is secluded with a view directly out to the sea, islets and reefs, and has sun from early morning to late evening.
A few minutes' walk from the cottage is the marina in one bay, Hersvika.
In the other bay, Honsvika, there is a small but lovely bathing area that is warm and very shallow, and thus excellent for families with small children.
It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Here you can crab fish under the jetty, and have long lazy days (the sun sets around 1800 in the summer).
The cabin is located next to a shared path which is mostly paved. This means that suitcases and prams can be wheeled relatively easily almost all the way.
It is around 250 meters from the car park to the cabin.
The cabin itself is located in a small valley by itself, so that you can enjoy your privacy.
This is a rustic cabin, but parts of the cabin have been modernized over the years.
The cottage is surrounded by terraces and gardens. There is a large terrace at the short end of the cabin, with an exit from the living room. Here it is sunny and beautiful, and with a great view of the sea and the garden. There are also other smaller terraces around, so you will always find a cozy place to be.
The garden is beautifully landscaped with large rose beds, fragrant honeysuckle coats the rock, herbs, strawberry plants, morel trees, currant bushes, gooseberry bushes, blackcurrants and American blueberries.
There is also a large and new trampoline which the children will love.
The cabin complex contains three units:
Unit 1: Main cabin:
Two bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen.
1st bedroom with 160x200 bed (new mattresses)
2nd bedroom with 120x200 bed (new mattress topper)

In the living room there is a dining table with room for 8 people. There is a new sofa group that faces the sea view, with room for four.

The kitchen has a new fridge with freezer and a new stove, sink, dishwasher and everything you need of boilers.
There is direct access from the living room to the large terrace, which has a staircase leading down to a new terrace and the garden.
The bathroom has a new sink, mirror and light, toilet and shower cubicle. The bathroom has a view of the garden and the sea. Heater above the door.
