My wife Judy and I fell in love with West Haye Farm back in 2020 and started the long journey of restoring this wonderful Grade 2 listed property. Swallows Barn is part of the estate and we had great fun renovating and furnishing this cosy space to the highest standard. When not hosting you can find me hiking all over Cornwall (coastal walks are a definite favourite), gardening and occasionally still practising as a professional photographer.

Why they chose this property

The barn is within easy reach of both Cornwall's north and south coasts as well as many attractions such as Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, Cotehele House, Saltram, Anthony House, Castle Drogo, the Eden Project, Fowey, Polperro, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Adrenaline Quarry and Tavistock.

What makes this property unique

The barn blends historic charm with modern comforts such as underfloor heating, a super king size bed (which can be configured as twin beds), a luxurious bathroom with tub and shower and a fully equipped kitchen. It is set within beautiful gardens and parkland with two ponds and makes the perfect base for both peaceful retreats and active holidays.
