Welcome to Tyn Lon - A charming Detached Retreat in Moelfre, Anglesey.

Situated in the heart of Moelfre, Tyn Lon is a unique and characterful property that blends vintage charm with modern comforts. From the moment you step inside, you will be greeted by an eclectic mix of antiques and charming decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. As one of the village's original ship captain’s houses, Tyn Lon is steeped in local history which is paid homage to through the heritage-style décor used throughout the house. Filled with quirky touches and rustic charm, this house is equipped for anything – from board games and movie nights, to traditional afternoon tea and garden parties, this house has everything you need for a family fun filled stay.

Ground Floor:
As you enter, you'll find a Victorian bathroom to your right, featuring a roll-top bathtub and a charming wood burner (decorative only), perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. To your left, there's a convenient 2nd kitchen.

Also on the Ground floor, there is a double bedroom with plenty of storage space for your belongings. Additionally, there is a spacious bedroom with three single beds, perfect for families or groups, along with an ensuite shower room.

Each bedroom has been thoughtfully designed with comfort and a homely touch in mind.

There is also a small but comfortable 2nd living room with an open fire.

The ground floor also offers access to a beautiful large private enclosed back garden with patio, garden furniture and summer house, a great spot to soak up the sun.

Upper Floor:

Upstairs, you'll discover a second inviting living room. featuring a smart TV and a cozy electric log burner. perfect for a quiet evening in. The comfy sofas offer space to relax and enjoy the warmth of the fire. The large windows offer a view over the Eryri mountain range.

The first floor also features a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, providing a private and comfortable space for guests. Just off this bedroom, before you enter the kitchen, there's a small study- a quiet spot to work or read.

The kitchen is equally charming, with a dining area attached. The highlight of the kitchen is its beautiful new quartz worktop and a highly practical kitchen island. With plenty of cupboard storage. Also a large American style fridge/freezer. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your culinary needs.

To further enhance your stay, there's a cozy Both retreat situated across the courtyard . This separate accommodation includes a double bed, its own private bathroom, and electric log burner. Offering an additional peaceful space that's perfect for those seeking a little extra privacy or a unique experience.

Guests have access to the entire property during their stay.

Please note: Pets are allowed at the property FREE of charge.

Parking is available off road alongside the gable end or under the carport - beware the low height that is not suitable for a top box or very tall car. Also please note that our house insurance is invalidated, and it is a health and safety risk, if cars are charged from a house 3 pin socket. (An EV charger will be fitted in 2025.TBC)

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
