The cottage is nestled in the tranquil Bredon Hill Nature Reserve, in the Worcestershire village of Westmancote. Surrounded by countryside, it offers a variety of scenic walking routes, including paths leading to Bredon Hill, where you can explore ancient iron-age forts and enjoy stunning views. Further adventures await at the Malvern Hills National Landscape (15.5 miles) and the serene Cotswold Way (11 miles). Nearby Tewkesbury (4.5 miles), located at the confluence of the River Severn and River Avon, offers charming strolls along its waterways. For a taste of local culture and excitement, visit Cheltenham (10 miles) for a day at the races, or explore the nearby picturesque Cotswold villages, including Winchcombe, Broadway, and Stow-on-the-Wold (all within 19 miles). Westmancote is the perfect base for exploring the beauty and history of this delightful region. Upon entering, you’re welcomed into a spacious hallway leading to a cosy lounge complete with a wood-burning stove, plush sofas, soft furnishings, and tasteful artwork, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The stylish, open-plan kitchen and dining area is designed with chefs in mind, boasting bespoke cabinetry and modern appliances, making meal preparation a pleasure. The generous dining table, ideal for entertaining, is complemented by a large wall-mounted TV, and the space opens onto a terraced area, perfect for outdoor gatherings. A useful utility space offers further storage and a cloakroom. Upstairs, the character continues with a split-level hallway that leads to two beautifully finished bedrooms. One of these features a private en-suite shower room and WC. A second landing provides access to a luxurious king-size bedroom, while a family bathroom awaits, featuring a magnificent freestanding bath, separate shower and WC, the perfect place to unwind.
