Spend quality time together discovering North Devon’s rugged coastline and countryside. The village of Northam is steeped in history, and home to a wonderful selection of local cafes and restaurants. Explore the Northam Burrows Country Park (1 mile), a Site of Special Scientific Interest comprising open grassland, dunes and salt marshes, a haven for keen nature enthusiasts. Enjoy a bucket-and-spade day at the seaside at Westward Ho! (1.5 miles), which boasts a 2-mile stretch of golden sand perfect for sandcastles and a great place to access the South West Coast Path. Venture 2 miles inland to the riverport town of Bideford to stroll along the quaint quayside before boarding a boat trip out to Lundy Island to explore this unique spot renowned for its puffins.
The lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner welcomes tired travellers to unwind at the end of a busy day's adventure. This holiday cottage is a real home-from-home in a location that will capture your imagination, you’ll feel totally relaxed the moment you step foot inside. The quaint kitchen is just the place to whip up something delicious with your locally purchased produce before settling down at the stylish breakfast bar or on the plush sofa. Featuring a characterful sloping ceiling, the king-size bedroom upstairs provides a haven of serenity to retire to, the TV is the perfect addition for lazy morning lie-ins. A contemporary en-suite shower room completes this cosy bolthole.
Outside, make the most of the fresh sea breeze blowing in from the nearby coastline by dining alfresco on the raised decking, which has an outdoor table and chairs, in the wonderful courtyard. Please note that the courtyard has shared access with the neighbours. Parking is on-street or in the surrounding public car parks, subject to availability.
