About the host
Hosted by Kayleigh Beadle

Hello, friend! I'm Kayleigh, owner of Chapel Cottage. I purchased the property in 2022 and started renovating. I love DIY, Interior Design and bringing things back to life! The vision for Chapel Cottage was to create a non-toxic, Earthy space to relax, un-wind and nurture ones wellbeing. I re-located from Oxford to Somerset in pursuit of a fresh start, new surroundings and a slower pace of life. I hope my home brings you peace and joy.
Why they chose this property
I actually found the property at random, and I'm so glad I did! A trip from Oxford with my dad after seeing the property online and I instantly feel in love with the character and charm. Chapel Cottage is located in one of the most beautiful parts of England, with Exmoor National Park just minutes away, the Quantock Hills, waterfalls, coastline and cute cafes. If you want to immerse yourself in nature then in any direction just 10 minutes from Chapel Cottage you'll be stunned by the beauty and calm.
What makes this property unique
Chapel Cottage is an old priests cottage, which is part of an 1883 Chapel development. With natural stone walls, unique features and windows positioned to the West to catch the sunset. The property has just undergone a complete renovation! Once a tired old rental property, now a natural, Earthy space that leaves you rested and calm. This is a non-toxic, natural home that was designed with sustainability in mind! Owner, Kayleigh, is a Health Coach who also has a degree in Interior Design, it was her vision to create a healthy home that nurtured guests well-being. The house was designed with natural materials- pine wood flooring, stone floors, wool carpets. The walls painted with chalk pain, water filter tap, stainless steel pans and ceramic roasting dishes- you wont find any plastic or toxins here! Chapel Cottage feels like a luxury hotel but has the comfort of being at home.
