Our place is walking distance to the Resort, downtown shops/restaurants, Tubbs Hill, Lake Coeur d'Alene/Sanders Beach, McEuen Park & more! You’ll love our place because of the amazing access to all downtown Cda has to offer. Our place is great for couples, business travelers, families (with kids) and groups. Book a romantic getaway, and explore the natural surroundings or participate in a variety of community events. Enjoy winter recreation at its finest, unique holiday shopping, lake cruises, indoor water parks, special holiday festivities, live performing arts and more. Plus delight in a wide range of restaurants, a local winery and several local breweries. Don't forget the beautiful various Ski resorts which are anywhere from a 30 minute drive to a 90 minute drive from the Prime location of this home! As the weather starts to warm, it’s time to head outside. Take your pick from golfing, hiking, paddling, climbing, biking, or however else you like to play. Spring is a great time to plan a trip to Silver wood Theme Park. If you’re not ready to step outside, visit one of the area’s indoor water parks. Don’t miss the Downtown Art Walk, the Wine Extravaganza, the weekly Downtown Farmer’s Market, Live After 5, and Car d’Lane. This city was made for summer. This town hosts two separate Iron man events as well. Catch a round of golf while in season. Hoist a seasonal beverage at the Oktoberfest celebration. NICE PLACE THAT IS DOG FRIENDLY AND HAS A HOT TUB! VISITED ON A WARM DAY, DOWNSTAIRS WAS VERY COOL, UPSTAIRS WAS A BIT WARM, BUT THEY HAD PLENTY OF FANS. EASY CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT PROCESS. COOL NEIGHBORHOOD TO WALK IN.

Birthday Getaway

It was my girlfriend’s birthday and we were looking for a centralized place for our close friends and family to be able to stay and enjoy the downtown scene! The house was fantastic and was just a short walk to downtown for food and events! Would very much recommend this place for others and would love to come back again!

Great location, comfortable stay.

We were a group of five women from one family who wanted an overnight retreat. This was a harming, clean home close to Coeur d’Alene Resort and beach. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the conversation area in the living room. We recommend this home for a great stay.

July stay

We arrived with a little glitch upon arrival. I called and they were very responsive and fixed the situation quickly not to inconvenience us at all. The stay was very nice and its location to downtown is a great bonus.

Great historic home near the heart of the city

A beautiful historic home just a couple blocks from the heart of downtown. Four bedrooms made for plenty of privacy for our larger group. We loved walking to the bakery for coffee and breakfast before exploring the park and lake.

Amazing Stay, But Hot Tub Needs Maintenance

We came to have a place to stay while celebrating a friends bday. It slept 3 couples very easily and the beds were super comfortable. Only downside I really saw is that the hot tub couldn’t keep a hot temp and just got cold from what I was told (I went to bed and the others tried to use it). That was a bummer but we enjoyed the stay regardless and loved the Christmas decorations. We will probably return in summer to get some use of the cruisers and explore more!

the upstairs beds,

Over all great stay, awesome location. There were hairs upon pulling back two of the upstairs beds and the hot tub did not hold a warm enough temp, hovered mid 90's, to enjoy with cooler outside temps.

bathrooms need locks, curtains needed for privacy, beds had black short hairs, we had to wash sheets

This is a charming overall clean, except 2 of the beds had lots of black hairs. We had to wash our sheets. The bathrooms have no locks and the downstairs bathroom doesn't even shut all the way. One bedroom upstairs has no privacy at night the neighbor can see in. More over the door hang up clothes option would be great as there are No closets and at least a dresser in all the bedrooms.

Unfortunate!!

We have rented and booked several places through VRBO to host dinner and game night with family and friends—The home was perfect but the lack off clear communication of house rules and false accusations with no way to dispute extra charges made this experience horrible. The House Rules included no more than 8-guests, animals allowed, children and gatherings allowed. The owner was clearly monitoring us which was fine because we didn’t do anything outside the house rules but our privacy felt invaded. We were also accused of having several more people in the home beyond the 8 and accused of having people in and out of the home at 3am- not the case. For safety reasons two additional guests stayed ( 8 adults total as allowed per house rules) in the home and we were honest and confirmed their stay when owner questioned—never denied and explained circumstance. The owner said they attempted to make contact and lived close by but never had a VM or missed call. Two days after checking out of the home, the owner falsely accused us of breaking the hot tub and charged an inconvenience fee as other renters could not use the hot tub. This was after other guests had already used the property and after the housekeeper had been at the property to maintain it. So I give 2/10- I recommend the owner have clear communication about house rules adding quiet time and require photos to be taken before and after.

We love sharing this beautiful piece of history with others. We love the area and have been living local for nearly 20 years now. I manage other homes and enjoy the interactions but love how remote this process has become for those who are worried about meeting or if wanting to meet we can arrange.
