About this property

Quirky, cosy, romantic cottage with own garden in Wye Valley. Pet friendly!

For relaxing evenings around the firepit, sitting under the stars and listening to the owls, come to this unique, historic, converted folly, surrounded by woodland and your own private semi-walled garden.
A perfect rural escape for up to 3 people.
One bedroom cottage has open plan living area with sofa, TV, DVD player and fold-up dining table and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen is set around a spiral staircase.
Full length front windows with views of the garden. Dogs welcome.. Upstairs has bedroom, with double and single bed, wardrobe and full-length mirror, and en suite bathroom with shower above bath.
A 19th century red sandstone folly with original leaded windows which backs onto woodland. Converted in the 1990s. Wrought iron spiral staircase. Private garden with a choice of seating areas. Parking for 2 cars about 50 metres from front door. Ground is flat between car and cottage, with one step up to front door.
Cottage and enclosed garden are self-contained with own entrance.
Shared driveway
The nearest access for a car is about 50 metres from front door of cottage.
The woodland around the cottage is private and not available for access, but there are plenty of walks from the village (about 15mins walk away on the village road), which go along the river, and up Coppett Hill for good views.
I'll leave you to enjoy a peaceful holiday, and you're welcome to message me anytime.
