About this property
Seaside Shepherds Hut
This charming romantic retreat is in the seaside village of Mundesley, on the Norfolk coast. The attractive shepherd’s hut, which welcomes two guests, enjoys a peaceful and private setting in the owner’s garden, yet is within easy reach of the village’s fine array of independent shops, pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Mundesley boasts a wide, sandy beach with colourful beach huts, where you can take relaxing strolls along the water’s edge, or share a picnic. It is also a great base for walkers, with long-distance trails such as the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path passing nearby. The village is also home to a popular golf course with unrivalled views along the coast. Day trips from the holiday home include the vibrant seaside town of Cromer and the picturesque waterways of the Norfolk Broads (both within 10 miles).
A woodland path and a small flight of steps lead to the shepherd’s hut. Inside, the romantic bolthole has been beautifully decorated and furnished, with a colour palette that reflects the surrounding landscape, oak cabinets and units, and an array of thoughtful accessories and soft furnishings. The main living space is open-plan, with a small kitchenette for rustling up light bites, which you can enjoy at the bespoke breakfast bar, whilst listening to some favourite tunes through the Bluetooth speaker. In one corner is a cosy wood burner for those chilly winter evenings, and at the opposite end of the hut, you’ll find the sumptuous double bed. Completing the property is a separate shower room.
Outside, discover a delightful patio area with outdoor furniture and sun loungers, where you can sip a morning coffee and listen to the birds in the trees or sit out with your supper on balmy summer evenings. There is on-street parking infront of the main house (subject to availability).
