About this property
Cosy rural cottage, near incredible Pembrokeshire beaches
Take a break and escape to Old Barn Cottage in the pretty village of St. Florence, a short drive from Pembrokeshire's stunning beaches. The perfect combination of relaxation and activity. A great base for activities including beaches, coastal walks, theme parks, wildlife parks, castles, golf, coasteering and more. Then retreat to the cottage and relax around the fire, eat alfresco in the garden and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
A small stone building dating back to the 1870s, Old Barn cottage is a cosy bolt-hole. Downstairs the front door opens onto a generous kitchen diner with the full range of kitchen appliances, cookware, tableware and utensils. The semi open plan feel moves through into the large lounge with it's comfy corner sofa and log burning stove.
Outside there is a small south-facing garden that is perfect for sitting to eat in the evening or enjoying the morning sun with a coffee. There is a table, chairs and parasol as well as a Weber charcoal BBQ and a rotary washing line.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a main bathroom.
The master bedroom has an iron bed frame and views of the hills from the window. There is a large wardrobe, chest of drawers and hanging rail. It has an ensuite bathroom with powerful shower, basin and toilet. There is also an illuminated mirror and cabinet with a shaving point.
Bedroom 2 can be arranged with twin beds or a king-size bed. There is a generous wardrobe and stunning views from the window.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed with chest of drawers and hanging rail.
Bedroom 4 has a single bed with small chest of drawers and hanging rail.
The main bathroom has a bath with handheld shower attachment. There is also a basin, toilet, heated towel rail and bathroom cabinet. It has a large shower cubicle. The shower is very powerful and run from a combination-boiler so there is plenty of hot water.
All bedrooms have a hair dryer.
Full bedding and towels are provided.
There is parking on the drive to the front of the cottage as well as plenty of space on the roadside.
