A stunning floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace it the focal point of the great room. It is flanked by large windows that let in lots of natural light. This well-equipped kitchen has plenty of counter space so that the chef in your group can whip up delicious dishes that you can enjoy at the breakfast bar or dining table. When you are in the mood to barbecue, step outside onto the wrap-around deck to savor your meal surrounded by the sounds of nature.

When you need to catch up on your sleep, the two main level bedrooms are decorated with your comfort in mind. One offers a duobunk making it great for kids or adults, and the other has a queen bed. Both have TVs so that you can unwind at bedtime.

Upstairs, the spacious primary suite with a king bed is a haven where you can unwind by the gas fireplace or watch TV. Your private bath has a tub for soaking, a dual vanity and a beautiful tile shower.

Bloody sheets

One of the bedrooms had a fitted sheet and comforter with old blood stains on them. The code to the property was wrong when we checked in, and it was difficult to get in contact with the rental office bc the cellphone signal at this property is nonexistent. Also, the house looks like it is sitting back in the woods, but in actuality it is facing the main road. Finally, they have a 3 night minimum, but do not provide you with enough toilet paper/ paper towels/dish soap etc to last 3 nights and there was NO hand soap! Not even a cheap bar of soap!

Nice weekend

Place had lots of spiderwebs and could use a deep clean. Only one bathroom door locked. Fire pit and hot tub were awesome. Very cool house and great layout.

Wonderful long weekend with our family

Pretty good location, only thing that would have made it ideal is if were directly on the lake. Well equipped kitchen. Master suite was awesome! Only caution would be, if you are traveling with small children, bring two baby gates. Steps are dangerous for little ones without it. Only other suggestion would be to have a second refrigerator.

Beautiful house

House and area in general was absolutely beautiful. The cleaning service could have done a better job things were very dusty and the hard surfaces had a wierd sticky flim on them. This is why I only gave the cleanliness a 3 star rating it was not terrible but for the price it definitely could have been better. The activities were endless and we can't wait to go back to the area and explore some more.

Beautiful property! Amazing stay!

The property was spotless. Very cozy and comfortable. We were a party of 6 although we originally had 10 but 10 would have been too right. 8 is just perfect! Also consider bringing a heater for the downstairs rooms. As it is very cold in the winter. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend the place!

Perfect Winter Getaway

***Book through Taylor Made directly!! I did not realize this was a Taylor Made home until after I had already booked. Booking through VRBO adds on an unnecessary $142 "VRBO FEE". My past experience with Taylor Made Deep Creek rentals has not been great, but this house was very nice. The only complaints were some dirty dishes in the cabinets and a broken fireplace in the Master bedroom that would not turn off (it got WARM up there). Other than that, the house was comfortable and exactly as pictured. The bathrooms were spotless and there were plenty of towels. Upon arrival there was already a path shoveled for us to get to he front door and the hot tub was ready to go (although we did have to up the temperature to make it enjoyable -- it was a COLD weekend). Just be sure to book through Taylor Made directly, not VRBO, and you should have a lovely experience.

There was plenty of space for 8 of us that stayed for a Bachelorette Party. It was a great location, a short drive to restaurants and bars. We did have an ant problem during our stay, we call management and they sent someone over right away. After the house was sprayed and traps were put out, the ants were not as much as a problem. Other than that, my friends and I enjoyed our stay!

The house's interior is well thought through and very modern. The kitchen was fully equipped with a wine cooler too. The master bedroom is gorgeous. We had great time sitting out around the fire pit too. A few things I would recommend to be improved, but these would not stop me from renting this place again. 1. The landscaping needs some TLC. 2. Like many other reviewers, the basement/bottom floor was really cold in the spring too. A space heater or two could help.

Only issue we had was no heat in the basement for 48 hours and it was cold. The reality brought small space heaters but the basement floor was cold. The house was not clean upon our arrival and definitely not clean for Taylor Made standards.(toothpaste spit in bathroom sinks, food stains on counter top, food crumbs on furniture & floor).

Great, but Cold in the Winter.

There are space heaters provided, but I don't think that should be needed when spending a good amount of money on a rental. The one downstairs bedroom didn't even have a vent to receive heat. Overall the house was great. Then kitchen was very modern and stocked with needed utensils/spices.
