Beachy Oceanfront Condo with stunning views! Pet friendly, relaxing getaway!

Come sit back, relax, and enjoy a beachfront condo vacation in North Myrtle Beach!

- One of the biggest oceanfront balconies on the beach with a stunning view of the ocean, Cherry Grove Pier, sunrises and sunsets over the ocean.

- The kitchen, living room, and master bedroom each have eight foot sliding glass doors opening onto the balcony. We love to relax out there and watch the people, dolphins, and ocean.

-The unit is tile throughout with an updated, fully-equipped kitchen with blender, toaster, dishwasher, ice maker, gadgets, etc.

-Short walk to the Cherry Grove Pier, grocery store, and oceanfront bars and restaurants.

- I am willing to rent to well-behaved pet owners - please let me know ahead of time what type of dog you are bringing (fees apply).

-Towels and Sheets are provided for a $120 fee. Please let me know if you'd like to add this service to your stay.

Perfect location, right on the water and the best part of Cherry Grove. Great host who obviously cares about the property. Plenty of room.

One critique... for a 3 bedroom condo, only having 4 dinner plates and fewer bowls is insufficient. Additional dishes would be nice.

Best Location In North Myrtle Beach

We have stayed at Shalimar many times over the years because it is directly on the beach and is surrounded by homes and not mega hotels. Scott's condo is very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Scott was very accommodating and quick to respond when we had a question. Shalimar is within walking distance to Boulineau's food, liquor, and beach stores where you can purchase anything you need. We highly recommend booking your vacation with Scott at Shalimar.

Great as always

This is the third time we rented this property. Great as always. We will be back next April for a fourth time. Great location, great views, dog friendly, quiet and location to beach all pluses!

Great time was had by all

This unit is right on the beach and the view is amazing. There are not a lot of large hotels too close so the beach isn’t as busy as some areas. The bedrooms are spacious and we found the beds very comfortable, kitchen has all we needed to prepare food if we didn’t go out. The couch in the sitting area focuses right on the ocean and what more can you ask for listening to the ocean. The owner is very quick to answer any questions, we certainly want to come back.

Great location!

Love the location. Great view of the pier. Condo is nice plus I love that I can bring my small dogo. Condo complex not big so no waiting on the elevator. Kitchen is good was able to cook a Thanksgiving meal for 5 with no problems.

Perfect location!

This condo was perfect for our needs. Great location, beautiful view and the owner was quick to respond when I reached out. I didnt like having to provide our own linens and towels, but it wasnt the end of the world. A few updates/fixes were needed but we came at the end of the season so Im sure thats to be expected when renting out your space. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Ocean Drive trip to Shalimar 7A

Loved the location of the property. Easy parking and quick access to the beach. The unit was well equipped and clean. Especailly enjoyed the view from the spacious balcony. Scott the owner was very accessible and it was evident that he wanted us to be happy with our visit.

On the Beach!

Enjoyed this condo For the third year in a row. It is literally the closest building along this stretch of beach. Enjoy it from above or take a few steps and be right on it. A quarter of a mile away from restaurants and groceries and Scott is the ultimate host, any deficiency in the property and he is right there to take care of it. I would highly recommend the Shalimar to anyone.

Relaxing

The condo was clean and well equipped with all the necessities. We ordered linens which were not in the condo at check in , waited a few hors then contacted owener who promptly answered that the lines would be there shortly and they were. The balcony is one of the best features so large and comfortable. The furniture made outdoor dining perfect.

First bad experience with Vrbo

Got there only two I have to clean the place before my family got there called the owner. He was willing to send the cleaning people over at that time. My family was walking in the door also and of course I was doing my best to do the cleaning before my family got there, it didn't stop. Their elevator broke seventh floor got my steps in but I know that can't be helped. No one knows when the elevators gonna break, but on Tuesday was going to see my other daughter in Charleston, unable to leave was told by the owner I could just leave a stranger to fix the air conditioner they broke during the night they didn't come till late so that they were shot. Never got to see that daughter because she was in meetings the rest of the week, and of course now she's upset that we'd spend any time with her. It's nice to go on vacation, but in this case it was nice to get home things were broken throughout the apartment we had a floor lamp that must've had a short in it. the light kept flickering when it was on so we felt that was unsafe to use had to unjam the sweeper because it wasn't picking up any of the sand on the floor all in all very disappointing told the owner never responded after the air conditioner broke even to see if we were enjoying our stay. Never was asked I guess he assumed we weren't. I didn't care never had that type of person and I have rented off the vrbo for many vacations.

Myrtle Beach 2023

Stayed a week. Deciding factors to rebook next year are the property being pet friendly, ocean front and ocean view, very short walk to the beach, availability of rental umbrellas and chairs, 7th floor with amazing views of the Grand Strand, and large oceanfront and side patio. There are only 24 condos in the building so we NEVER had to wait on the elevator! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Property

I highly recommend this condo unit. It is very clean and it was also nicely furnished, VERY COMFORTABLE!! The location and view was spectacular. We had a great time but our favorite thing was just sitting on the balcony, drinking our morning coffee and listening to the ocean. Awesome week. Also Scott was very communicative and super easy to deal with.

What a View

Hello & welcome! My name is Scott Alexander. My two kids have grown up vacationing at Shalimar for over 25 years (their grandmother, my mother, lives in unit 2A). We have always loved Shalimar's location, walkable shops and bars, local golf courses, and seeing the pier from our bedrooms. I am a self-employed, Jimmy-Buffett loving, avid golfer. Why they chose this property

We originally chose Shalimar in 1997 because of its "small building, small crowds." The building always has friendly owners/renters and the beach is not overcrowded. We were also drawn to the panoramic views from the kitchen, living room, and the master bedroom. It has always felt like a second home.

Short walk to Cherry Grove Pier, Boulineau's, and local nightlife. Short drive to Main Street of North Myrtle Beach with various shopping, restaurants, and bars. Walkable Black Pearl Mini Golf Course - complete with sweet treats and arcade!
