Step into our charming open-plan guest house, a cozy retreat just off the A1 with easy access to Stamford, Oakham & Rutland Water. Designed for comfort and style, we advertise it as sleeps 2 comfortably but there is a sofa bed ideal for children with additional bedding provided on request, featuring wooden flooring throughout, a fully fitted kitchen, and a spacious living area with a 55” Smart TV, electric recliner sofa, and a cozy log-effect fire.

Guests enter through a five-bar gate marked Liddesdale Cottage, leading to a stone shingle parking area with gated parking for one car. Please ensure the gate is securely closed behind you.

The guest house is separate but adjacent to the main cottage. You'll access it via a wooden cottage door entrance. The outdoor area features security lighting for good visibility at night, along with a bistro set perfect for enjoying breakfast or evening drinks.

We aim to personally welcome guests, guide you inside, demonstrate the appliances, and share local recommendations. If needed, assistance is available by calling on the number provided upon booking, or as a backup, a key box is provided with the access code sent before check-in.
