About this property
Beer View - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6
This charming coastal cottage, nestled in a vibrant village along the Jurassic Coast, is the perfect retreat for families or groups of friends seeking a seaside getaway with plenty of nearby activities. The village of Beer boasts a variety of independent shops, fantastic restaurants, a scenic shingle beach, and picturesque coastal walking trails. For those looking for adventure, explore the ancient Beer Quarry Caves (1 mile), hike to the Whitecliff observation deck (0.5 miles), or visit the historic Bomb Shelter (less than 0.5 miles). Just a short distance away, the town of Seaton (1.5 miles) offers additional beaches, and a tramway, and slightly further afield is the highly popular Lyme Regis (9 miles).
Wander the shared pathway along the row of cottages, leading you to the front door. Step inside, and you’ll be welcomed into a cosy lounge/diner. A comfortable sofa and two armchairs are arranged around the TV, while the adjacent dining table provides ample seating for meals or lively game nights. Beyond the dining space, the well-equipped kitchen is ready for preparing everything from hearty breakfasts to evening feasts. A conveniently tucked-away WC can be found in the corner. Heading up the first flight of stairs, you’ll find the family bathroom to your right, featuring a shower over the bath and a WC. A single step up leads to the rear bedroom, where a spacious double bed offers a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. A few more steps from the landing take you to a twin bedroom with lovely views over Beer. Completing the cottage is a front-facing double bedroom, offering scenic views and plenty of storage space.
Outside, the enclosed front patio is surrounded by charming flower beds, with a table and chairs perfect for al fresco dining. A small lawned area and a sandpit provide additional space for relaxation and play.
