About this property
The Studio Cottage - pet friendly in Broad Campden near Chipping Campden
This Cotswold haven draws you in before you've even stepped through the door. The views of pretty cottages, open countryside and enticing village pubs that you pass along the way set the scene for your stay. Once you arrive and take a breath of fresh air in peaceful Broad Campden you feel the weight of the world drift away.
Beneath the thatched roof is a contemporary styled upside-down cottage with added smart features where Alexa will turn on the lights for you. On the first floor the open plan living area sits beneath an A-frame of exposed beams. This unique space really lets the original features shine and is split into three zones for cooking, dining and relaxing. If you go out for dinner you can come back for a movie night or snuggle up with a book and a glass of wine. If you choose to stay in and cook the kitchen has everything you need. The ground floor bedrooms offer flexibility as both have a king-size bed which can be arranged as a twin. From each bedroom is an en-suite shower room so you won't be stepping on each other's toes in the morning.
At The Studio you have your own private courtyard where you can serve meals or just soak up some sunshine. Just beyond your doorstep is a maze of walks, making miles of countryside feel like your own back garden. The Cotswold Way starts from Chipping Campden while the Monarch's Way passes through the village letting you walk to the delightful village of Blockley.
Ground Floor
Bedroom One
The simple elegance of bedroom one makes this room feel incredibly relaxing. The king-size bed can be arranged as a twin if needed making this suit friends or younger guests. There is plenty of storage space and even a smart TV for lazy mornings.
En-Suite
In the refreshing en-suite there is a rainfall shower alongside the WC and basin.
Bedroom Two
The second bedroom is monochrome in style with dark furniture and fresh walls. This room also has a king-size bed which can be a twin if needed to suit your group. At the end of the day you can get tucked in and watch TV before asking Alexa to switch off the lights.
En-Suite
Mirroring the first en-suite, here there is a rainfall shower, WC and basin.
First Floor
Open Plan Living/Kitchen/Dining
The angled beamed ceiling of The Studio adds unique character to this room, but make sure you mind your head! The highlighted beams shape this room making it nice and cosy, creating a special place to stay. At the end of the room is a sitting area with a sofa and armchair set around the smart TV. At the centre is a dining area seating four and the kitchen is tucked into the side, cleverly designed to have everything you need from a fridge/freezer to a dishwasher. The washer/dryer is hidden in a cupboard under the stairs.
Outside
Sitting away from the road, the private courtyard is a little peaceful haven. A table and chairs give you space to eat on sunny days and there's a handy umbrella to keep you sheltered. Your explorations of the Cotswolds start here, heading out whether in the car or on foot to discover your surroundings.
