Offering great walks and cycle rides from your front door you will be within three miles of Ware Town, a picturesque small town situated along the banks of the River Lea.
The River Lea canal path to Hertford or into London is a joy to ride or walk, look out for well-preserved Victorian Gazebos. The Lea Valley offers nature trails, bird watching and picnic areas, you will also pass many barges of all shapes and sizes with their colourful inhabitants.
The village of Wareside is a five minute walk, with two pubs The Chequers and The White Horse both serving traditional pub food and the Holy Trinity Church.
Thundridge is a beautiful countryside walk, or cycle. with Ermines offering coffee and cake and The Feathers Inn great food and beer. Maltons is a great gastro pub too.
Ware is 2.5 miles, a 5 minute drive away, offering a great selection of Cafes, Restaurants, Pubs, Bars and boutique shops along with supermarkets.
There are great restaurants in Ware including Proto (incredible sourdough) The Hop Box, Neelakash, Sala Thai, Casa Lua, Zeros, Fuoco, The Mexican, Turkish and Coffee Lab amongst others, every cuisine is covered.
Pearces Farmshop stocking local produce is 15 minutes from the barn.
We are really well placed for travel connections. Ware Trainline station takes approximately 40 minutes into London Liverpool Street. Cambridge is approx 45 minutes by car through beautiful villages. Stansted Airport is 40 mins by car, the M25 junction 25 is ten miles away. Harlow and Hertford both fifteen minutes by car.
Guest access
As you enter through the electric gates, the barn is located on the left. On the right is the owner's residence. You will find two spaces to park your cars in front of the barn.
