The property is around 1 mile from the banks of Lake Windermere, making it an effortless choice for walks, bike rides, and boat trips on the water. Both Bowness (2 miles) and Windermere (3.5 miles) are within reach, each offering pubs, shops, and restaurants with that indescribable Lake District atmosphere. Set out on peaceful hikes up Brant Fell (2 miles), Claife Heights (3.5 miles), or The Old Man of Coniston (12.5 miles), or admire the tranquil scenery around Coniston Water (9 miles). Close by, Grizedale Forest (8.5 miles) offers forest trails, towering trees, and a Go Ape course. In the opposite direction, spend time in the market town of Kendal (9.5 miles) and sample its famous mint cake.
