About this property

The Bothy at Park Farm

Escape with your special someone to this beautiful retreat that was once part of Temple Newsan House – a grand Tudor-Jacobean country estate that boasts grounds landscaped by Capability Brown. Sleeping two people in one bedroom, this is a perfect accommodation option for couples in search of a quaint yet stylish cottage to call home while they discover the beauty of West Yorkshire together. Spend a joyful day exploring the vibrant city of Leeds (4 miles), which offers a fabulous selection of historic attractions like the Royal Armouries and Kirkstall Abbey to discover, as well as plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to enjoy. In the evening, come home to snuggle up in the cottage’s cosy living area.
From your private parking spot, climb the steep external staircase to reach your stylish farmhouse-style home. Step inside and kick off shoes in the entrance lobby, which has large storage doors for boots and bags. This leads to a smart open-plan living/kitchen/dining area. Find your spot on the plush sofa and take a moment to admire the characterful exposed beams and preserved original features. When it’s time to eat, head to the chic, country kitchen area, a lovely space to whip up dinner. After eating, unwind in the sophisticated living area while soaking up the views of the front garden. At the end of the day, retreat to the beautifully styled bedroom in the former dovecote, which offers a king-size bed and a view over the pretty orchard and ancient monument. Completing the layout is a smart bathroom overlooking the Temple Newsam Rose Garden.
Take a seat in the front garden to soak up the beautiful views of Temple Newsam Rose Garden. There is also direct entry into the Temple Newsam Estate via a bridlepath and footpath.
