Guests to this lovely setting at Kealakekua Bay enjoy a short walk to Manini Beach, a jog to Keei Beach, and a walk to visit local cultural settings.
Manini Point House is uniquely beautiful and comfortable. The lanai is perfect for lounging and enjoying meals together. Each of the three bedrooms has a queen size bed and a full bath. The kitchen is perfect for friends and family to cook meals together. You will enjoy ocean and mountain views, walking trails not far away, and, of course snorkeling, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking--located just a 2-minute walk away--in world famous Kealakekua Bay. Kealakekua Bay is a marine sanctuary and historical site known for its clear waters, coral reefs and diverse marine life including unusual fish, dolphins, and seasonal humpback whales. To enjoy K Bay, you can snorkel from Manini Beach, tour Kealakekua Bay on a kayak, or hike to Captain Cook Monument on a fairly strenuous hiking trail. The History of this Hawaiian community unfolds when you, family and friends, visit historic Napo'opo'o Park to learn more about Kealakekua Bay. Manini Beach, is a 2-minute easy walk from Manini Point House. Guests can take an early morning swim, have a picnic, or just relax and enjoy this beautiful spot. Not far away is a famous surfer spot, Keei Beach, with a white sand beach. Keei is a great hiking destination. Napoopoo Village is a cultural destination; all without jumping in your car.
Just 4 miles away, is famous Two Step at Honaunau Bay. A favorite snorkeling, and swimming. spot adjacent to Puuhonua O Honaunau, Hawaii's National Park! On special evenings in the park, you may enjoy local folks describing Hawaii's history and cultural practices. Just 4 miles away is Puuhonua 'O Honaunau, Hawaii's National Park treasure that is filled with legends of Old Hawaii. The park offers hiking trails along the coast as well as picnic grounds. Two Step, adjacent to Hawaii's National Park, is a favorite swimming & snorkeling spot with a little beach for children.
Visit Halemaumau Crator at Volcano National Park to see the eruption, just a 2 hour drive away! Book a helicopter ride over Kilauea Volcano and waterfalls! Enjoy Green Sands and Black Sands Beaches and South Point along the way. Travel North, and visit historic Hawi, and Pololu Valley. Plan to visit farmers' market in Hilo, and travel over Saddle Road. You will enjoy many adventures while taking a day's outing as you visit other beautiful places around Hawaii Island.
