Best Village Lodge Location, Top Floor, Luxury Finishes

Best unit in the Village Lodge resort. Our reviews say it all.

Updated 3 bedroom, 3 bath top floor unit in the heart of the Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season. The elevator access in our building is much better for those going to the Gondola / Village plaza compared any other Village building.

2 Bedrooms are en suites. Accommodates up to 8 or so people in your choice of 9 Beds (2 Cal Kings, 6 Bunk Twins, 1 Sofa Queen) and is just steps to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops, and more. A lot of units claim to be ski-in/ski-out and we have the best location in the Village but we don't claim that. It is true that you could use the ski-back trail during certain times of the year or you have the Gondola right outside our balcony, but we we want to under-promise and over-deliver.

All Village Lodge units have just one parking pass assigned and you can potentially get 2 parking passes depending on resort availability. Other nearby parking is available. In the winter, just park the car and leave it parked. For most of the ski season, just walk a few steps to the Village Gondola or walk across the street to the last shuttle stop before the Main Lodge. In the summer, watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows from the balcony or engage in any of the Village activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, water sports, and more. No pets, no smoking in unit or on balcony please. Please note that our unit is right in the heart of the village, so you can be part of just about everything. That may mean a little more noise, but just close the windows and shades if you want to block it all out and relax.

The unit has fast Wifi and a good size kitchen. Unit is on the top floor (4th) but just a short walk to the elevator. The Gondola runs through high ski season (shuts down around mid-April), but the last shuttle stop to the Main Ski Lodge is just across the street. During the summer, the bike shuttle stop is just a few steps from the elevator doors. It does not get more convenient than this!

Beautiful Home and location is excellent!

We really enjoyed our mini vacation in this relaxing condo. It’s in a prime location to shopping, food, activities, adventures, and even live music. You can’t watch the concert from your balcony. Our family enjoyed this experience we had staying here. Thank you!

Lincoln House Village-Mammoth Condo

Nice view of the Village and mountains. Easy access to restaurants and the gondola to Mammoth Mountain. Enjoyed use of private locker to store our gear. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were perfect for our party of 5!

A beautiful 2024 start

What an amazing place to stay. Everything you need is within walking distance. And the firework show?? It seemed like it was meant for just our family. Beyond magical!! The best place we have stayed thus far and we have been to many, many places including Park City and Breckenridge. The communication with Michael was outstanding. We will definitely be back and only rent this location when in Mammoth.

Perfect Stay!

This really is an optimal place to stay in the village, and the unit itself doesn't disappoint. The outdoor deck is spacious with great furniture and overlooks the Village courtyard. The accommodations inside, lighting, fixtures and kitchen accessories were also great. We also appreciated the security of the complex, and as we were on motorcycles, also appreciated the secure indoor parking. A+ here!

Needs better air conditioning

We loved everything about this place, except the lack of air conditioning. It was very hot when we were there and the portable/window units just did not adequately cool the condo.

The place was beautiful as advertised, and location couldn't be better. We enjoyed the apartment, the pool, and the short walk to the gondola. Communication with Michael was easy and responses were always fast. Highly recommend.

Another terrific stay!!!

Our family loves coming to Mammoth to enjoy all that it offers and having access to the Village is important to us as we enjoy the convenience of restaurants, shops and the gondola. Mike's place is a perfect spot for our family as everyone has their own room and the view from the unit to the Village is amazing. It's nice to be able to look out your window to see if the gondola is operating and the view of Lincoln Mtn is spectacular. We have stayed at Mike's place multiple times and have never had a bad experience. If something does pop up that needs attention, Mike is on it and the issue is resolved. Our kids call Mike's place, "our 2nd home" which tells you a lot about how much they love being there and at Mammoth, We hope to continue the tradition of staying here for years to come.

Village Condo

Condo is very convenient for skiing. Gondola to Canyon Lodge is a two minute walk. Restaurants, general store, rentals, and shopping all within a few minutes walk away. Will book again next year if available.

Great condo, great location!

What a great place. We arrived just before the blizzard that closed the mountain for a day. Normally this would be devastating. But the condo was amazingly comfortable with a great view of the courtyard from the balcony to the gondola. When there was a brief reprieve we walked the area and checked out a few shops brave enough to open and then had drinks at Mammoth Brewery which was an easy walk. The next day the snow removal was amazing and we were in the village Gondola at 8am and had phenomenal skiing. We cooked every night but one (Skadi which is probably the best restaurant is a short walk away) and everything we neeed was there. We had other friends in Mammoth at the same time and they were extremely jealous of the condo and the amazing view from a perfect location. We will be back!!!

Spacious condo and so close to the gondola

We really enjoyed our stay. Family of 6, with teens and younger kids. The location cannot be beat and there is a perfect view of the gondola from the living room window. Plenty of space and it was nice having 3 large bathrooms for all of us too. Great communication with the owner Mike and he will make sure you have the most enjoyable stay! We will be back! Amazing View!

This was our first family vacation in Mammoth and we had a lovely time. The check in/check out procedure was effortless and Mike (owner) was very responsive when we had questions or issues. Overall, we had a great experience and appreciate the lovely rental. The VIEW will NOT DISAPPOINT! I highly recommend this rental property! You will be at the center of all the festivities! So location was awesome for us!

Labor day weekend

We went for the Rock n' Rye festival and could not have had a better view of the stage! The unit was clean and well stocked. We were there during a huge heat wave and like most all places in Mammoth, just a portable AC unit that had a hard time keeping up. Otherwise the space, amenities, cleanliness was all perfect. Beds were comfortable. I do wish it came with 2 parking passes not just one as the unit sleeps more people than can all arrive in just one car. Parking across the street is pricey per night! Had the Village not been sold out, we likely could have received another parking pass free of charge which would have been nice. We appreciated all the games for kids supplied in the unit. All in all, very nice place to stay for a family. We would book again.

Beautiful Condo

This was our third trip to Mammoth but our first experience with VRBO. We had no idea what to expect. Mike was very communicative and we felt we were in good hands. The Condo is beautiful and spacious. It has everything you need, extremely clean, beautiful views and the perfect location. My whole family had an excellent time. Will book again on our next time to Mammoth.

Great Stay in Mammoth

We had a great time staying at “That Place With A View, Manmoth 3419”. Everything was just as advertised and communication with Mike the owner was great. Parking was easy and the room is close to the elevator making for an quick in and out. Perfect location for people watching off the deck or going to the pool and hot tubs.

Mike & Audra - Mike grew up in the Yosemite area and my wife came to Mammoth every year while growing up. We have three kids in K-12 and we really enjoy coming up to Mammoth. I did a lot of the renovation work on the place myself, so we are really looking forward to actually using the Mammoth home and sharing it with others.

Why they chose this property

The location was the best we had seen and we feel really fortunate to see the unit when it became available. It needed some TLC, so we took the opportunity to upgrade and we hope to do more inthe future. We purchased this property because we wanted to have a place for our family and friends to congregate. We love the location amenities as everything is so convenient in the Village. Now, we are looking forward to hearing how our guests (new friends) are using our Mammoth home and using this information to keep making it better for everyone.

What makes this property unique

One of the best locations in the Village. Close to the Village Gondola and the last Shuttle stop before the Main Lodge at Mammoth Mountain. Close to the summer bike shuttle. Watch concerts, fireworks, and festivals from the balcony as well seeing the sunset reflect off of the mountains to the South and West.
