About this property

How about a wonderful, relaxing vacation on the beach in Southern California? We have a 1 bedroom condo available for daily, weekly or monthly vacation rentals all year long.

*** We just finished a major remodel at the condo with new flooring, new windows, completely repainted the inside of the condo, new screen slider. The outside of the C building was remodeled and repainted as well ***

Where:
Oceanside is in Northern San Diego County about 30 miles north of San Diego airport and 90 miles south of Los Angeles airport. The condominium complex is on the beach between the Oceanside pier and the marina. Amtrak, the Metrolink and the Coaster provide daily service to and from the Oceanside train station.

Amenities:
The complex amenities include two heated swimming pools, two Jacuzzi’s, gas barbeques, games room, laundry room, private underground reserved parking, lush tropical grounds with koi ponds and waterfalls.

The Beach:
The beach is perfect for kids for wading, boogie boarding, and building sand castles. Also, the waves in front of the complex are great for surfing. Sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards and surf boards are available in each unit.

1 Bedroom unit
The 1 bedroom unit is a ground level unit, which gives easy access to the beach. It is on the street level which allows for easy loading and unloading. There is a large patio with its own barbeque. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a large closet, and a TV. The couch folds out in the living room and there are two rollup foam sleeping pads as well.

The living room has a gas fireplace, a TV, a VCR, a DVD player, a computer with internet access and a stereo. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need; fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, blender, food processor, toaster oven, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, cups, etc. Again, there are beach chairs, beach toys, umbrella, boogie boards and surfboards for you to use during your stay.

Awesome location!

The location is why this place is awesome. Steps to the beach, pools and hot tub. Nice gym and very new sauna. A few things to note though... -Bring blackout curtains because the bedroom is BRIGHT at night, even with the old school blinds (please update those) -If you don't like street noise, you'll just need to be OK with it until 11pm or so. -The oven/range is one of the worst cooktops we've cooked on, along with the pan to cook food in. There is not one non-stick in there to make a simple egg scramble without sticking horrendously. -The pull out coach/bed is awful, so so awfully uncomfortable on or off the frame-be warned! -If you love easy access to everything and don't mind that stuff, this is a GREAT place! Would stay in this unit again if those modifications could be made.

This property was OK but the abundance of ants and the non-chalant attitude of the property people was.... "Well...it's ant season...that's just the way it is!" When you come from out of state where ants aren't a problem like this...it was MISERABLE!

Close to beach, right on street.

Condo was right on the street which made loading and unloading luggage super easy and fast. But you also get the street noise and less security; can’t really leave the windows or doors open for a breeze at night. There were some break-ins at other condos while we were there which definitely made me think more about the street and the location of the condo. Although clean, it could use some upgrades around the place. Bathroom and bedroom doors didn’t lock, we were invaded by ants in the kitchen and bedrooms throughout the stay, but luckily it was equipped with ant spray which helped when our stuff was covered in ants. Kitchen was lacking some basics like cookie sheets which we had to purchase. Beds were not super comfortable. We have stayed here before and love the amenities. Great pool and hot tub. Beach is fantastic. The communication with the owner was great and fast which I really appreciated. Also, they have lots of fans which was great. Over all a good experience and I loved to sit out on the porch. Thanks for the stay!

Steps to the beach

The property is as described in the listing. It’s just a few steps to the beach. The outdoor patio does lead to the street but offers plenty of privacy and road noise is not a huge problem. Overall, a great stay!

It was a perfect location for our activities.

North Coast Village is a great place to stay, the rental was perfect and clean. The bed could use a pad to make it a little softer, but overall it was perfect.

Great location...needs an upgrade

The location was awesome, as expected, as we have stayed within that complex multiple times. The fold out couch was the worst we have used in 4 stays at some complex, to where I had to go buy a mattress topper for my two small kids. It just needs to be upgraded

Excellent location for families with perfect easy beach access

Property was as expected awesome location-steps from the beach. Also, not too fancy and had sturdy furniture and light on breakable decor, which is great for kids and beach time. Carpets could use a cleaning, but other than that everything was there we needed. Was great to have all the boogie boards, sand toys and towels on-site, so we didn't have to pack our own!

Perfect beach condo!

The condo was perfect for our months stay in Oceanside. It was very comfortable and equipped with everything needed for our long stay, including a great kitchen to cook in. Even though the patio wasn’t too private as it was on the main road, the beach was only about a 30 second walk away. Can’t beat that.
