Perfect Home for a stay on Crystal Lake

This property was exactly what we needed. They have thought of everything from a beach bag and cooler to a FULLY stocked kitchen tools, etc. I brought some cookware and didn’t need it at all. The bed were all very comfortable and sheets were like brand new! We found bikes in the garage and that made it easy to get into Beulah for lunch. This house was perfect and we would love to come back! Thank you, James!

Highly Recommend

Great property and house in a fantastic location. Central location to all the attractions and very close to the best local Mexican restaurant. If you're participating in the Ironman, you should book this place. Owners are great to work with and very nice too.

House was very spacious with comfortable beds. Beautiful large TV, Kitchen was well stocked with all utensils. Will be even nicer when the renovation to the downstairs bath is complete.

Fantastic, secluded place, very near all of the beach and activities in Beulah.

This has to be the best VRBO I’ve ever experienced. Everything is modern and updated as stated in the listing. The kitchen is incredible for our party of 10; gathering to cook and eat and hang out. The teenagers found the badmitten and tennis rackets and bikes in the lower garage and had a wonderful time. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. However, I’ve never found a sofa bed that anybody over about 50 pounds can actually sleep on. Overall, I would definitely give this a 10 out of 10.

Wooded wonderland

We loved our weekend! The heavily wooded property was an away from home oasis. We walked to the cute town of Beaulah which was closer than we expected. A short tree covered walk down the street opened up to a breathtaking lake view. We all had such a special weekend and were grateful to have this space to enjoy our stay.

Year fishing trip

We had our fist yearly salmon fishing trip with our boys this year and they had a blast, and as always the experience on the house was awesome, we are return customers for 3 years now and we will be for years to come.

Up North Family Fun

We truly enjoyed our time in Beulah. The location was excellent and ,having come to the area since I was in 5th grade, we were off to many familiar spots. The home was "stocked" beautifully with all the necessities of vacationing. It was very clean and comfortable...no lake view but we were entertained by wild turkeys and deer ! We would definitely return to this rental!

Nice getaway for a ski weekend at Crystal!

Great location, close to Crystal mountain and spacious. A couple minor notes would be that the basement bedroom was freezing cold and we ran out of garbage bags and very low on TP - other than that, nice getaway weekend with friends!

Family Weekend North

We traveled to Beulah to be part of a family event. This very spacious & comfortable house fit our needs by accomodating 3 couples perfectly. The thoughtful owners planned very well when making updates. The kitchen was the star of the show! We've rented numerous houses, yet we cannot get over the amount of quality items in this kitchen. It's unlike any others we've rented. They provide everything you need to create meals for a group. Rainy weather? No problem! They have games galore here! Next time we are in the area, we won't hesitate to book this rental again. James, thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home!

Girls Weekend

This house was PERFECT! Beautifully decorated and clean! It had everything we we needed to cook dinner and slept 7 of us comfortably. We took morning walks down to Crystal Lake, floated the Platte River and had dinner in Frankfort all that were within a 15 minutes drive. The owner was very accommodating answering all my questions. We’ll be back, thank you!

Great place to kick back and relax!

We had a terrific stay at this beautiful, wooded property! We enjoyed the close proximity to Crystal Lake, where we went fishing every morning. Beulah is a great up north town, with lots of charm and good food. The park offers an excellent and free concert every Thursday. We had so much fun seeing The Accidentals! The house is also close to Frankfort, which is a terrific beach town with fabulous eats. Coming back to the house after our Dunes climb and Kayaking adventure was very relaxing. We loved being able to have camp fires, cook dinner in the brand new kitchen, and have family game nights in the comfortable living room. The beds were so comfortable that I ordered the same sheets for our beds here at home. We will definitely stay again!

Our recent experience of this property was a most pleasant experience. The comfortable home and 2 acre property facilitated a range of cozy comforts and space for our generational family. It is not a five star resort hotel but a comfortable home away from home that I would rate five star. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need from utensils, pans, storage containers, dishes, no lack...top quality... Mom cooked up a storm! The freshness and cleanness was noticeable from the paint, towels, flooring, blankets, sheets...everything clean...and plenty too. Those beds were comfortable. Dishwasher with soap under the sink, Washer and Dryer, air-conditioning. Coffee maker makes single pods or a pot. Decks to sit outside, camp fire circle with wood, new grill, plenty of parking space. We had the feeling someone thought out every detail possible to make our stay comfortable. There was an X box for the kids; a walk in the woods for Dad; Crystal lake in walking distance; A short drive to the boat ramp for gramps; grocery store and gas station; basketball courts in Frankfort (the best outdoor public I've seen); Lake Michigan; beaches; Sleeping Bear Dunes; Cherry Hut's famous pies. After catching a load of fish from Crystal Lake the fish fry was tasty. We had a birthday for a grandson and found balloons in a drawer. Read the book, "Legend of the Sleeping Bear Dunes" placed out on a table. We all left with a full satisfying experience...recommend to anyone with a family, group setting, or use for a comfortable landing spot to explore this sector of a rich Michigan heritage.

Close to Frankfort

Property was nicer than pictures and great for two couples attending Frankfort Ironman event. Stairs from garage up to main floor would be challenging for someone with mobility issues, although they would be able to access main floor from rear sliding door and wraparound driveway.

Everything you need!
