This cottage is flooded with natural light that accentuates the high vaulted ceilings and furnishings that will provide you with all the comforts of home. Our kitchen has all the necessities for preparing meals which can be enjoyed on the private back patio. Choose a dip in the year round indoor heated pool, a soak in the hot tub or take advantage of the exercise room which are all steps away from the cottage.
The Starfish Cottage also offers ample parking in the front, which accommodates larger vehicles, as well as additional guest parking across the road.

Home away from Home.

We really loved staying in ocean side .lots of walking trails and sities to see.The pool was only a few steps away. The place we stayed was excellent ..Everthing you needed was there.It seemed to be a home away from home. I would go back there again ..Everyone was so friendly. Nice too look out your windows and see little bunny rabbits running around.

Great spot for exploring Parksville

This property is so clean and well cared for. It was perfectly comfortable and the kitchen was much better stocked than most places. They even had board games and colouring supplies for the kids. The pool is a great feature, although it gets quite noisy when busy. I would absolutely rebook this for another vacation. Lots to do just a short walk or drive away.

Everything we needed was right there. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with spices etc. There were bath towels and pool towels. We truly enjoyed our stay and wish it was longer!

Lovely Cabin

Perfect getaway in Parksville

We had a perfect getaway at Starfish Cottage. It had everything we needed, there was a lot of attention to detail and to make it a very comfortable stay. Spent 4 days in the cottage, and it was great. We were worried about the hot temperatures, but even without AC the fans in the rooms/bedrooms and the shade kept the cottage from getting too warm. Great location to walk to the ocean. Would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful!

This beautiful cottage really is a home away from home! We are very picky when it comes to staying somewhere other than our own home and Starfish Cottage was perfect! Julie was very easy to communicate with, check in was super simple, and the cottage had all of the amenities you could ask for and then some!

Excellent place to stay near Rathtrevor Beach!

The cottage was great. Very clean with a well appointed kitchen! Very close to the pool which is a great facility. Owners were very quick to respond to our requests! We had a great time with our family for the week. Thanks again!

Starfish Cottage

Our group of 5 recently stayed at Starfish Cottage. We found the cottage to be exceptionally clean throughout and we had no issues during our stay. The cottage is perfectly located within the development as it is very close to the indoor pool and is only a 3 minute walk to the mini golf. We would not hesitate to book here again in the future.

Lovely cottage, exceptionally clean, very cozy.

Our family enjoyed staying at Starfish Cottage. It was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, very cozy, and had lots of room for our family of four. Our teenage daughter really enjoyed her own space in the loft and we appreciated the pedestal fan as it was quite warm up there during hot weather. This is a lovely property and we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation rental for families

We had a great time at this rental! We had 2 adults, and then a 13yr, 10yr, 3yr, and 2yr. The older 2 kids loved having their own loft space and private bathroom. We brought a pack n play and it fit in the guest room closet perfectly so that the toddlers could also room share. The beds were comfortable and we all loved the patio with privacy hedges! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. We loved having access to a dishwasher and laundry during the week. We absolutely loved Parksville, this cabin and the surrounding area and cant wait to come back to visit again next year. If you are looking for a family friendly vacation rental for a larger family, this space is perfect!

Oceanside Village Resort is rated #1 accommodation in the Parksville area. We love it because it is a small community of detached cottages close to Rathtrevor Beach as well as Parksville Beach. Cottage rentals give you a whole home for the price of a hotel room. Oceanside Village Resort also provides on property dining, shopping, swimming, and mini golf. Outdoor grilling and a private back patio is also a definite bonus.
