About this property

North Vancouver - 15 minutes to downtown Vancouver

We are located in the Grand Boulevard area, walking distance to Lonsdale, the Quay and the new Shipyards. We are a 20 minute drive to any of the local mountains - Seymour, Grouse or Cypress. Our house is listed as a heritage home and features old and new; antique fixtures and crown holdings, modern kitchen and bathrooms. The house will come furnished with everything you need. We are renting it for the summer of 2019 while we travel across the country. Available dates will appear as such on our listing.

Great, comfortable home for family with adult children

Wendy's home was great for us. My husband & I traveled with our 4 young adult children. We were all very comfortable in the spacious home. Although downstairs shower was tricky, upstairs shower was great! Neighborhood is terrific! Grocery, resturants, coffee, ice cream and lots of green space with in a couple minute walk. Ample street parking for our rental van. Highly recommend

Lovely

The property is not a short walking to the market as it says in the review, i was expecting it to be a block or two away so that was a big disappointment. It was very hot during our visit so more fans would have helped but ofcourse the heat was no fault of the owner. We didn’t spend very much time in the house because it was very hot inside and very few windows opened.

Perfect vacation in North Vancouver

Our stay was exactly as hoped and even better. The house was beautifully maintained, the neighborhood lovely, and it met all our needs. Our host was great at communicating and very pleasant. The location was ideal for exploring the area. We are so happy we chose this property and would return and also recommend it.

Perfect for my family

Wanted to get a feel for Vancouver living. It was very well located for me to travel to many places of interest. House was ok good order and ideal for my family. Host was very accommodating.

Fantastic vacation!

It is a beautiful home located in a nice quiet area! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary utensils so we ate home cooked meals from a market close to the house. We are hoping to come back next year! Don’t miss going to Whistler Mountain and Village about 1.5 hours away!!! Beautiful scenic area!! 💕

About the host

We are a family of four who loves to travel. We started traveling with our boys when they were 9 & 6 and are continually dreaming of our next adventure. Wendy is a high school PE teacher, Chris is a landscaper. Our boys (now 17 & 14) have the travel bug too! They are both active in sport during the school year but we always go off on an adventure during the summer months.

Why they chose this property

This is our primary residence and only property we own. We decided to start renting it to allow us the opportunity to explore the world so hopefully you will choose our property!

What makes this property unique

If you like to hike, bike, ski or do all three, the North Shore is where you want to be. There are 100's of local trails and three mountains offering downhill skiing plus nordic skiing on one if you are here in the winter. You get a smaller city feel on the North Shore but can get to downtown Vancouver in 15 minutes by car or transit.
Our house overlooks downtown Vancouver to the south and Grouse Mountain to the north.
It is a beautiful home with plenty of room for you and your family.
