The villa is located on a hill, on 4000sqm of land facing the Southwest Aegean sea and the temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounio.
It is a private residence of 250sq m, designed by Manetas a well known Greek architect, and decorated by Stelios Anastasiadis' painting on the main atrium. It combines the principles of modern architecture with the ones of Greek traditional Aegean architecture keeping its dimensions small and human, fitting nicely with the nature of the 4000sq m land surrounding it. In the interior of the house the simple built beds and sofas create a fully functional environment for relaxed living. The out of season months provide a real escape to peace, tranquillity and relaxation.
Around the house we have no car traffic. This makes our community very private, quite and safe. You can dive to the sea and snorkel in the crystal waters from a small remote sunny beach with a rock cave that provides shade.

A 250 sqm villa in ground and first floor constructed with respect for the nature surrounding it (as it fits perfectly at the slope of a hill by dividing into smaller fragments).The design of the lodging incorporates the very best in indoor and outdoor living whilst ensuring the maximum of privacy.
The ground floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen, the living room and our main bedroom with double bed (1,70X200), walking closet and its bathroom. Also three bedroom with the main bathroom:1 bedroom with 1 double (1,50X200) and 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 bedroom with 1 single bed.
The top floor consist of one big bedroom with a king size bed (200X200) ,a small auxiliary room with a single bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen leading to the upper terrace with breathtaking view to the Aegean sea and the Posseidon Temple.
The living room with two huge windows facing the atrium and the sea has a fire place corner and a separate dinning space. In the livingroom there are two large sofas (one of them can convert in a comfortable single bed), TV and DVD player with Dolby surrounding system and Internet. The atrium has a dining table and a big portable BBQ and it is ideal for enjoying the sunset and the sea at night.
The big windows the ventilation system give the most for an easy indoor and outdoor living throughout the year.
Around the villa there is no car traffic. This make our community very private quite and safe. The roads are ideal for walking, jogging and cycling.
You can explore the pine forest that covers the area from Passas port to the Posseidon Temple in Sounio, discovering small ancient sites were gold and silver were treated for the decoration of Parthenon and other temples in Athens.

Site seeing: The closest ancient monument is the Temple of Poseidon, at Sounio. Less than 10 min drive , it is ideal at sunset. It is also a nice spot for coffee or dinner. The ruins of the temple of Athena are at the foot of the Sounio hill.-The city of Lavrio has an archaeological museum with findings from all around the region and an ancient theatre at the boarder of the town in the village of Thorico. Scuba diving can also be arranged. Lavrio is the nearest port to the Cyclades islands, but it is also a nice small town where you can hang out at afternoons or at night.

Sounio is located at the Southern spot of Attica. Many of its inhabitans comute daily to their jobs in Athens using their private automobiles.Our house is perfectly situated for those that wish to visit Athens and its monuments, but want also to combine their vacations with a seaside stay at a peaceful place.Enjoy a day city tour, visit Acropolis with its new museum, This-ion and other archaelogical sites, Benaki museum in Piraeus str, walk in the old city of Plaka and Psiri and dine in the area of Keramikos. The south suberbs of Athens are well known for their stylish cafes and their shopping roads but also for the famous lake of Vouliagmeni with natural hot healing waters in 30 min distance from our villa. After 30 min driving you can access the national highway leading to the rest of the country and visit Elefsina in Attica , Corinth, Mycinae, Epidaurus and Nafplio in Peloponese or Delphi with the ancient oracle.
You can organize daily cruises from the port of Lavrio to Kea. Kea, a typical Greek island in 1 hour distance from Lavrio port has wonderful bays for swimming and an extended network of ancient stoned paths across the island that can lead you to the magnificent temple of Karthea with its sunny beach facing the Cyclades and East Aegean.Not to miss the ancient lion statue, dating from from the Myceanian era, and the small orthodox monetary of Kastriani, painted typically in white and light blue.
From the port of Piraeus you can visit Egina, Hidra, Spetses and Poros , four well known beautiful islands of Saronic gulf.
