The owners have lived in San Diego and worked in the Bankers Hill area for many years. They are particularly interested in rehabilitating older properties which have an intrinsic value to the neighborhood and community. They have been working non stop since their purchase of the National Historic Landmark to improve the quality of the rooms, landscaping, etc.

Why they chose this property

This is not your typical VRBO. You will be able to spread out and enjoy the best of a traditional hotel and the low prices of VRBO. IT's unique history, including that it is "haunted" and a film location, makes it inherently interesting. And its perfectly preserved outside and interior makes it a delightful place to enjoy a trip into another era.

What makes this property unique

You will have complete privacy, private bath, your own room. You can stop e food in our refrigerator, and you can cook downstairs. The convenient location and full supplied bath makes travel much simpler. In addition a reasonable cleaning fee and a returnable damage waiver means you will save a great deal of money. All utilities and WiFi are included.
