Perfect place to stay
The home is beautiful. So much space! Bedrooms and kitchen and wonderful living space with total privacy. Judith is the sweetest hostess, lives upstairs, greets you, makes you comfortable, then leaves you to yourself. A real treat!

Lovely, peaceful stay
What a lovely hostess in a beautiful home. My grandson and I loved this comfortable and well equipped log home. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. The brownies were a very nice treat! We will stay there again if we ever get to go back to the Athens area again.

Great Log Cabin Get-away
We loved the property. It was a lovely, quiet property. The owner is excellent and on-hand if you need anything. She even left us the most amazing apple spice squares. My husband and I are over 5'10" tall, so we were a little too cozy in the full bed, otherwise, it was a fabulous stay.

Such a enjoyable retreat sitting in the rocking chairs viewing nature! We had access to wide selection of drinks and homemade muffins that were delicious! We would have loved to have stayed longer!

Weekend getaway
What a gem! This was the ultimate in country charm and quiet setting. The family and I came over to scout the area for a job opportunity. Judith welcomed us to her home, she had brownies waiting and they were delicious!! The raccoons were a treat to see on the front porch. We enjoyed our stay. We would recommend Judith and her cabin to anyone looking to stay in Georgia.

Amazing Property
The log cabin is a once in a lift time opportunity for anyone to enjoys modern conveniences in an original log cabin. Judith was a very gracious host. Even though we got in somewhat late, she greeted us on entry and even had a yummy plate of brownies for us. They were so juicy and good (it was hard to eat just one, so we didn't,. We ate quite a few). I would stay here again if I am in the area (it was not far from the Chateau Elan Winery). It's a very safe and clean accomodation in this beautiful part of NE GA.

The property is as wonderful as the pictures show. Judith, the owner, was just marvelous though. She checked us in and was extraordinarily hospitable, even baked us brownies! We cannot wait to come back!

Perfect Get Away!
My wife and I had an event we were working at Road Atlanta this particular weekend. The cabin and Judith were absolutely perfect! We didn't spend much time there since we were mainly working, but it was so nice to come back to peace and quiet after a long and VERY hot day. Judith was super hospitable and gave us our privacy the entire time. I was a little skeptical as this was the first property I've stayed at where the owner stays on the property as well, but we had zero issues and really enjoyed ourselves! We will definitely be staying here again for the next event!

Wonderful hostess!
Judith is an absolutely excellent host! She baked us lovely pound cake and muffins. Unfortunately we spent the majority of our weekend stay in Athens visiting our daughter and did not get to enjoy her lovely home. She was very accommodation for our late arrival.

Wonderful log cabin!
Judith is an amazing host! She greeted us in person and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - impressive hospitality! Her log cabin was the perfect place to relax and rest after moving our daughter into UGA. The cabin was very clean, nicely decorated, and is an easy drive from Athens. We would definitely stay here again on future visits to UGA!

Lovely log cabin with a welcoming hostess! Will definitely use again!
Very comfortable bedrooms. Close enough to Athens (15 mi) to easily get to town for UGA games. Shopping & testurants close by. A little hard to find driveway at night - may need a lighted sign to help locate entrance to driveway. Otherwise couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay.

Great place in a great location with a great host
This property is fantastic. I stated here with my wife and 2 daughters, age 7 and 9. We were evacuated from Myrtle Beach on account of a hurricane. Judith, the host, was as accommodating as you could ever want. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted and opened up her home to us graciously and without hesitation. The property is amazing with a big yard and lots of wildlife. We can't wait to come back.
