Comfy & Cozy
We came up to ski at Sugarloaf and stayed at Beverly's place for 3 nights. It's a convenient 10 - 15 minute drive to the mountain and walking distance to the Flagstaff General Store. The bed was comfortable and the heat kept us toasty warm despite subzero outside temperatures. We highly recommend having dinner at the nearby Coplin House and enjoyed breakfast at the Looney Moose Cafe. Beverly is a welcoming host and communicated via phone and email ahead of check-in. We will definitely look to stay here again our next trip back to Sugarloaf.

Cozy, quaint cottage
This cottage is cozy and quaint, tucked into the village of Stratton-Eustis. It is super close to Sugarloaf and even closer to some nice restaurants in the village. The host is very communicative and responsive. It is an inexpensive alternative to on-mountain lodging which can be very difficult to find these days.

Comfortable Home with easy access to Carrabassett Valley
Had a relaxing visit to western Maine based in this comfortable home. The two private bedrooms were large enough for our group and the kitchen was perfect for preparing breakfast each day (including blueberry pancakes made with berries from the side yard). The lawn provides parking, seating space, fruit-trees, and a grill that also worked for suppers. Wifi, TV, and cell phone coverage worked well. On a quiet street with little traffic, we were a short walk to the main road with market, fuel, post office, and banks. The hostess recommended some near by restaurants that had excellent food at a good value. We would stay here again, maybe for skiing/winter sports next year.

Nice House, Bizarre Behavior from Owner
The property itself is pretty good. Definitely quaint, but has everything you need, and is conveniently located. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and one with a double bed and a single bed, plus there's a single bed in the living room. Communication with the owner was a different story. She was very kind and grandmotherly at first, if obviously not tech savvy, but eventually things got weird and she got very pushy, repeatedly demanding to speak with us on the phone (6 messages in one evening!) and baselessly accusing us of having brought too many people, and then was extremely rude when she showed up to the house 30 mins before checkout time. Something about her was just off; and it feels like COVID has exacerbated that. The whole thing was very bizarre.

Beautiful house , very clean BEST LOCATION!!
I cannot say enough good things about Beverly and her home. I am a very frequent hommeaway user renting three or four times a year for at least the last four or five years from various locations and this is by far one of the best places I have stayed. Very at home cozy feeling everything you need in the house she thinks of everything heat works great and the location to Sugarloaf is unbeatable! 10 minute drive. Just enough for the car to warm up ha ha. There’s a gas station that is literally walking distance to thr house that has really good decent prices food like burgers panini, breakfast sandwiches pizza fries etc all made to order and then another restaurant down the street called the backstrap grill which has some of the best food we have had in a while! Also a great breakfast spot literally a minute away . Everything you need is centered around her house within a 10 minute drive at the most. We weren’t able to see it but there’s also a lake very close to her house that is supposed to be beautiful. We spent six nights there, skiing five days straight at Sugarloaf came home ate a great dinner each night and fell asleep right away so tired from the day lol. Beverly was very communicative and to make sure that we were all set checking in mid week and even leaving snacks and a gift card to a local store. She was very gracious and allow me to bring Our beloved dog which made the trip that much more enjoyable. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!

Great stay close to Sugarloaf
My wife, two friends of ours and their 11 month old stayed here over Presidents day weekend to ski Sugarloaf. It's really close and convenient to Sugarloaf, and surrounded by a few restaurants (White Wolf was great), a convenience store and a grocery store. The house was clean, spacious for the 4.5 of us and everything we needed for a great weekend skiing in Western Maine. I'll certainly be back.

Close to Sugarloaf
We enjoyed the place, It's warm, clean and convenient. It is great if you have pets. The kitchen has everything for your cooking needs except for microwave and dishwasher. The closest market is at the gas station, near by. You must bring your own bath towel and bed sheets.
