'Lazy Daze' - Lakefront Home, Two Family Rooms, Private Dock, Hot Tub!

“Lazy Daze” is located in the spectacular development of Overlook Bay. Completed in May 2007, this private lakefront home has all the modern conveniences you are looking for. With room to sleep up to 16 people, this home is ideal for multiple-family vacations, reunions and large gatherings. If you have questions please contact us at 513-833-3495.

This 6 bedroom home has over 3,300 square feet of living space on two levels. The upstairs features a large great room with hard wood floors which encompasses the gigantic gourmet kitchen, dining area and living area. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences including stove, microwave, stainless steel appliances, and Travertine stone backsplash. A large island is the focal point. The entertainment area features a 50” flat screen TV with dish network and DVD player. Off the great room you will find the master bedroom with a king bed, private bath and large walk-in closet. The guest room has a king bed with attached full bathroom. The bathroom also opens to the upper level living area. Off the kitchen area, you will find a large laundry room with washer, dryer and a full size second refrigerator/freezer. The upper deck is accessible from both the master bedroom and the great room and is equipped with a gas grill and outside dining furniture.

The lower level features a second family room and entertainment area with a foosball table, TV, dish network and DVD player. In addition to the living area, there are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the lower level. Two private bedrooms each have a queen bed and large closet. The fifth and sixth private bedrooms each feature a queen bed and a full on full bunk bed, ideal for kids! The lower deck extends out to a separate small deck with a hot tub, providing spectacular views of the lake.

You and your family will be thrilled to find that our stunning home is situated on a gentle slope with a convenient concrete sloping sidewalk to a large private boat dock. The dock sits in a no wake zone which is ideal for swimming!

'Lazy Daze' is conveniently located near Flat Hollow Marina which is a full service Marina providing gas and supplies, a full service restaurant/bar and weekend entertainment.

Great time at Norris

Wonderful property just as described! Owners checked in all week to make sure everything was fine. Great location in idle zone kids loved swimming of the dock! Hot tub was nice! 3 fridges a huge plus with 16 people! Plenty of room! Will stay here again!

Great House for Chilling!!

Since we go with couples, it was so nice to find a house with bunk rooms that also had queen size beds. The inside and outside of the house was just beautiful. The dock was great and we loved the location on the lake. Our host checked in with us several times to make sure everything was as expected. It was a great lake trip!

Property is as described in listing. The new dock was great with a great ladder into the lake. Ample room in the home with great decks and deck furniture. The sidewalk to the lake was a bit of a hike, but was used frequently. Great time of relaxation.

Relaxation at its finest

I loved the remoteness of the property, no hustle and bustle for miles! The house was the perfect setup for our 15 person group. The kitchen is beyond well equipped and made meal prep go quickly so you have more time to enjoy the beautiful views from both decks and the dock. The house is a short 5 minute boat ride to a marina for ice or to dine out. We would absolutely stay here again!

Lazy Daze was perfect for our Christmas gathering. The owner texted us frequently, not just to make sure things were working in the house, but to wish us safe travels as well. We had frequent communication and all of our questions were answered promptly. We were very happy with the home and our renting experience.

Felt like we were being watched with all the camera Wood deck and dock need repair they were rotten and uneven Walk to water is very steep with no railing we had half our group over 65 and it was a unsafe situation to walk down and back to house A table at regular height would be nice We were not happy with no regular height table high ones don’t work for old folks We rented because of the. Advertising of easy walk to water This house is not for seniors

Just the getaway we wanted!

My young adults’ hot tub requirement was met so everything else was gravy! Great place and great owners! No negatives except maybe the lack of cell service (but that SHOULD be a positive on a “getaway”).

Great location for family getaway

We have visited Norris Lake for years and have found the Lazy Daze lake property just right for our needs for lakefront property with great location to get out onto open water quickly! TJ was great to work with and easy to get a hold of. We will certainly stay here in the future.

Awesome!

It was a lovely visit- we had a few small bumps (such as I locked us and our full bladders out immediately after opening the front door) and heard back from them immediately... the communication could NOT have been better! All questions were answered within a few minutes- this was something we had never experienced before! The house was further off the beaten path than other Norris Lake rentals we've stayed at in the past, which made running out to grab that thing we forgot a bit harder. However, it also made our stay more tranquil. AND we saw an Ostrich! Thank you McCarthys for sharing your house with us! Thanks for a wonderful week!

Fantastic property! Fantastic Hosts!

This home and host are great! We have stayed in this home for a week two years in a row. It is clean, well care for and perfect for our family. The hosts communicates well. We have stayed in other similar properties and found them to be poorly maintained, dirty and beds cheap and uncomfortable. This property is like staying in your own home, only better!

The house was perfect for our family reunion. It was well equipped and so much room and space. The dock was a little challenging but TJ was already on top of the situation and was trying to get service done ASAP. The view was perfect and all deck furniture was very comfortable. Fantastic Home & Vacation

The home was perfect for our group of 12 friends! It had a big kitchen, living room and more! The walkway down to Lake was so much better than the steps we are used to at Norris. TJ was fantastic! He provided top of line service and was quick to respond to any of our questions or needs. Would highly recommend!

Great house, good location

The house was big and well-equipped (although guests have to bring their own towels, soap, toilet paper, etc.). It was nice to have two living areas and two decks where different groups could gather. The hot tub and private dock were big pluses. The owners and property manager were very responsive and our stay was very enjoyable. I would definitely return. The reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because of the location and not the house. First off, the listing makes the location seem secluded and bucolic but the cove that the house sits on is actually filled with "floating houses." This wasn't a huge problem, but it definitely made the location less private and quiet than we anticipated. Secondly, it's just important to note that the house is very remote and getting groceries, gas, etc. is a trek. Finally, we found renting a speed boat, pontoon and jet skis at Flat Hollow Marina to be very easy and convenient. In the area, we spent a beautiful day hiking at Cumberland Gap National Historic Park and fun day exploring Knoxville; both are roughly an hour from the house.

Gorgeous property, perfect host!

This property is lovely. Well cared for, comfortable, and clean. The dock is in great condition and the location is perfect. The hosts are very attentive and concerned with comfort. They respond quickly to questions. We have stayed at Norris Lake for 10 years. These are by far the best hosts we have had. Highly recommend this property. Hopefully we will be staying here again!

Great family house!!

This was a great set up. Only downside was weather. It was quite rainy. Nice bedroom layout and lots of beds. Cell reception limited but worked better for Verizon. Would go back in a heartbeat, especially once they put cover on boat dock. 5 stars!!
