CLEAN BED GUARANTEE
All beds are dressed with fresh, luxurious sheets AND fresh bedding/quilts/comforters before EVERY rental! You are guaranteed to have a completely fresh and clean bed!!! You will also find each bathroom stocked with oversized fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath mats straight from our laundry office! We started this in 2018 when we took our cleaning in house and created our housekeeping division. We have complete control over our property cleaning and maintenance.

WHAT WE STOCK
As common for vacation rentals in our area, we provide one round of bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and toilet paper in the bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find one round of paper towels laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. These stocked amenities are intended to get you through the first night. We are not set up like a hotel so we do not provide daily housekeeping or amenity restocking. Please bring the extra items you will need for your vacation.

We loved the property and received a discounted rate because of construction. We hope to return next year and won’t mind paying regular price when the construction is complete. The beach was wonderful the condo as well. Excellent security.

This was a great condo for our group of 12. Plenty of space and the bedroom layout was great. There was only a few small problems like outlets that didnt work, and the icemaker didnt work.

The condo was all we could want. One small issue was we had unexpected guests... Cockroaches. We also were not told that the dining room lights were not working. We handled the unexpected guests.

Parking

The condo was great but we were not aware beforehand that we could only have two parking passes-had to purchase the second one but had three cars. Security would not work with us as it was 8:00 in the evening and even though the garage was not full threatened to tow our car.we had to find an overflow parking lot to move the third car the next day. TBecause of the parking situation and the way security treated us, we will not stay at the Colonades again.

Loved the layout

We stayed here with our two adult children, their spouses and 3 grandchildren 4 and under. The condo is furnished very nicely. We took advantage of both the pool and beach. There is an access code to get to the pool from the beach that we weren’t provided but found out from other renters. We were able to work out parking for all three vehicles which was greatly appreciated. We were also able to coordinate an early check in. Every thing was provided as advertised. The only negative was the $3000 requested security deposit which was much higher than any other VRBO rental we have had. We opted to purchase insurance which we typically do not do. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again.

On arrival right off we reported several broken appliances and furniture. Pictures and description of condo deceiving. No pool and hot available during our 2 week stay. Damage done to our car by construction workers. Cockroaches in our condo . Construction from5:30am until 6 pm every day except Sundays . Repairman at condo 3 days to fix broken dryer. Was promised compensation by condo manager and HOA, received none and neither office

This place is a must! We loved!

This condo is great! It is stocked with everything you could possibly wantS. There is really no need to bring anything except your beach towel. The kitchen was AMAZING. Plenty of dishes, bowls, ect., mixer, blender, can opener. Condo is very spacious! We LOVED, LOVED, the balcony. We could all sit out there at the same time with ample room! There were 7 of us. The pool and hot tub were okay. They were clean and nice just nothing extra fancy. The MasterBathroom, wholey cow! The shower and tub! Condo even had beach chairs and extra blankets. The negatives the shower door was broke while we were there , and the refrigerator leaked. They responded as soon as I told them and was willing to come right away if we wanted. We were fine with waiting until wile left was nothing major:). I would highly recommend this place.

Lack of sufficient parking

The day before our arrival I was told that there was only parking available for one car. A second parking pass was available for $63 for 4 nights. My son with an infant, who arrived last, was in a third car. They had to park their car 2 miles away. I spoke to property managers and requested another parking pass, for pay, of course. It was denied. Every night we walked around the parking area and there were several parking spots unused. I spoke to the manager again to ask if a special consideration would be allowed since there were spots available and was again denied. Had I known when I reserved the condo, that only one parking spot came with the 4 bedroom condo, I would NOT have rented it. I have never had this problem before for the last 20 years of visiting Gulf Shores. A very frustrating experience!

50th Wedding Anniversary

Enjoyed the condo. Was ideal for our anniversary celebration. We had a few problems with satellite and WiFi but management worked quickly to correct the problems. Would definitely book again for a family get together.

Awesome condo!

We loved the windows! The balcony was wonderful! it was the perfect condo for our family trip! Ages 17 to 89 all had a wonderful time. Close to the water, and not far from the state park pier for fishing. Beds were all comfortable. We look forward to staying again.

Very nice condo

The views were amazing. The condo was very clean and spacious. I would suggest a rocking chair to help those with babies. My 3 month old loves rocking to sleep so without a rocking chair, it was a little more difficult but we managed. The code to the door was turned off the day we checked out BEFORE our check out time. Thankfully, someone was in the condo to let my dad in after he packed the vehicle. King bed in back bedroom was squeaky. Construction going on next door could be heard throughout the day but wasn’t too disturbing.
