Home away from home

This property was everything we could have asked for. The kitchen is a great size and well stocked. Lots of towels for bath and pool and kitchen. It was great having a pool to ourselves. Location to everything was close and easy to get to. Neighborhood was quiet. Contact for questions replied pretty quickly. Hoping to return again.

All our needs were met.

It was a clean wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood! There were 3 garbage containers, one for garbage, one for recycling, and one for yard waste but it wasn’t explained which one you were to use for what. There was a problem with ants in the kitchen area that presented a problem. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay at the house!

Beautiful home with heated pool.

Loved our stay at Jerry’s beautiful home. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. The pool was heated and perfect. We used it every morning and evening. The screened lanai was perfect and nothing got in. I was surprised we weren’t bit by anything, not even a no-seeum. Lots of room in the living room and 2 dining areas. Beds are very comfortable and I loved the jet tub. Cooked many meals and the kitchen had anything we needed. The house is located just a short drive from all the beautiful beaches and sunset. A grocery store is just minutes away. Jerry answered any question I had and made sure our visit was enjoyable in paradise. Planning our next trip.

My wife and I had a great stay, just be aware this is an adults only property, maximum of 4, no kids. And with more than 1 adult couple the single bathroom may be a challenge!

Mixed feelings

Having morning coffee on the lanai, surrounded by beautiful bougainvillea and a magnificent mango tree with majestic royal palms in the distance, listening to the birds greet the new day in a very peaceful setting -- simply sublime! Kitchen was as advertised. Nicely decorated, although some furniture was a bit impractical. Sparse amenities - plan to buy coffee, soap, shower gel, and some other necessities if you stay here. Evening entertainment limited to HBO and commercial TV. I own vacation rental properties, and I offer guests Netflix and Disney -- my guests can also cast Prime Video and any of their other subscriptions to all of the TVs we have -- the TVs in this place are too old and/or cheap to have that capability. There is a DVD player, and several DVDs were provided, but only 1 was usable. I won't call the other DVDs "pirated", but they were blank DVDs that someone burned movies on to - either the person burning the DVDs did not know what they were doing or previous guests mishandled the DVDs, because they skipped and/or stopped repeatedly to the point that the movies could not be watched (too bad because the titles were excellent). House was clean, but has a cockroach problem -- owner has traps out but we still killed several during our stay. My properties in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina get pest control treatments 6 times a year and we never have problems -- all it takes is for the host to make the proper investment. House has 2 lanai areas - one is virtually unusable because a huge a/c condenser sits in the middle of it and you have to shout to be heard over the noise. There is what looks like a solar powered webcam overlooking the pool (I could be wrong - didn't look at it closely, but it was disconcerting and I did not see any warning about surveillance in the listing). The issues listed above would not prevent us from renting this again (my morning coffee is that important), but we found several nicer places at much better rates for our upcoming stay next week.

Sunny Florida Home

Everything was very nice. We stayed there for two weeks. The house was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and fully supplied with everything that you need (except an iron and ironing board-I guess not many people iron their clothes). This was perfect for the two of us. The lanai was very nice and we enjoyed sitting out there mostly in the morning and a few evenings. We felt that we were in a safe neighborhood. Stores and restaurants were a short drive from the house. The owner was easy to get in touch with and promptly responded to our inquiries. Thanks Jerry for sharing your house with us.

A Great Place to Relax

My plan was to spend the month of November in the Cape Coral/Ft Myers area and enjoy one more month of summer weather before heading back to Wisconsin and winter. This house was perfect for that. The private pool was cleaned weekly, the rooms were well furnished and clean, the neighborhood was quiet and safe, and Jerry was accessible any time I needed something. I recommend this property if you are wanting a comfortable getaway.

My wife and I just spent 6 weeks at Jerry's home in Cape Coral. While the house is rather small for a large family, it was perfect for the both of us. The pool was great and the neighborhood for the most part was quiet. The location of this house was very central to shopping and restaurants. We did have a few repair issues which Jerry handled on a very timely basis. We are looking forward to our return to Jerry's house next year.

We loved our stay!

A lovely home in a nice residential neighborhood. The immaculate home is very comfortable with upscale decorative touches. We enjoyed coffee around the beautiful pool each morning. The location is conveniently close to everything. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.
