Charming and prestigious house, totally indipendent, 60 m2 on two levels,
in the heart of the eternal city, a few steps from Navona Square and Saint Angel Castel. Located in a best neighborhoods of Rome, in a very beautiful characteristic area, full of shops, antique craft shops, jewelers, wine bar, restaurants, pubs.

Residenza dei Banchi Nuovi is located on the ground floor of the beautiful building dated 1500th of the Banco di Santo Spirito, the ancient seat of the papal mint used for the minting of 'Giulii' Vatican coins.
This ancient and prestigious building is characterised by a concave facade made from the most famous italian architect Antonio da Sangallo the Younger and from two wonderful baroque statues symbolizing Love and Frugality.

Perfect Location

Lovely apartment which was close to everything. Comfortable house and more importantly bed, best sleep we have had all trip. Love Rome!

Rome Delight!

We had an amazing time staying in Rome in this gorgeous apartment. Exactly as the photos shown. It was easy access to everything. Such a beautiful area to stay with little roads everywhere filled with beautiful shops and restaurants. Easy to walk to all main tourist areas. Thank you again Alessandro for your hospitality, making sure everything was ok during our stay and quick responses to all our emails prior to our trip. Fantastic Rome

The property was amazing and the location was excellent. The apartment had everything we needed in it, with a comfortable bed and nice shower. There were plenty of places to eat for breakfast, although there was a well stocked kitchen if you prefer to eat in. You could reach almost all of the attractions within a 20 minute walk. There were plenty of restaurants and bars close by, and they were reasonably priced. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Perfect location and great place

We love this part of Rome and appreciated that this was at the quieter end of the street. Our host was very responsive and the guidebook was very helpful. It isn’t a large place but it looks just like the photos and was spotless. We would definitely stay here again but probably best for a very small group.

Cute and Convenient

The location near Piazza Navona is convenient to all that we wanted to see in Rome. Alessandro was helpful from time of booking through to our arrival at our next destination. We felt safe and comfortable in the little place. Unfortunately the door between the bedroom and the toilet was broken which was inconvenient at times. There is a narrow staircase which could be an issue for some people and thankfully we had small bags. Check in and out was seamless, kitchen had the necessities, and we received great tips for our stay and trip. Ear plugs are recommended and I was gratefully for my eye shade.

Great location, friendly host

Alessandro was an excellent host. Very helpful, arranged a very nice private driver to get us to the airport after our trip. The apartment is small, food for one couple plus one. Narrow stairs to get up to the bedrooms. The small bedroom is accessed through the only bathroom. And while we know air conditioning isn’t always common, this apartment doesn’t have it and it gets sticky in warm humid weather. But, great location makes all the important sites very walkable (if you don’t have mobility issues). If you struggle with stairs and also getting your luggage hauled up stairs, then this apartment isn’t for you.

A few days in Rome

This apartment was as it was listed and very convenient to major sites in Rome. Conveniently located between the Vatican and Coliseum. Both are within walking distance as well as Trestavere, Treve Fountain and other major Rome sites. The apartment is located on a nice small street. The host, Alessandro, is very helpful, attentive, and runs a luggage storage business a couple of blocks away from the apartment. We would highly recommend this apartment as a home base to explore Rome.

Durch und durch positiv. Ein Appartment mit allem was mann braucht. Ein äußerst netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Lage ist perfekt. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Unmengen an Gastronomie /Frühstück-Mittag-Abendessen. ca 8min Gehweg. Kleinere Supermärkte ebenfalls. Das Appartment ist funktionell aber Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gestalltet. First trip to Rome

Excellent accommodation for our first trip to Rome. The location was great, we were able to walk to the vast majority of the many ‘must see’ places in the city. Alessandro was extremely helpful and communicated well both prior and during our trip. Thank you. He gave very tips for restaurants which served authentic food ‘where the locals’ ate. We’ll be back!

A Wonderful Rome Getaway!

The property is beautiful! There are stairs but not too bad. Alessandro was very helpful in everything. Within walking distance to Tiber River, Coliseum, Roman Forum. Would definitely stay here again!

Good location for everything.

Really good location for a city bolt hole. Everything within a maximum of a pleasant 25 minute walk. Host organised our airport transfer which was good. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great weekend.

Central to Rome attractions

This property was in the best location, within walking distance to all of the popular locations! Alessandro did a great job communicating with us and arranged transportation from the airport. His restaurant/bar suggestions were also very good. Would stay here again! Thank you!

Great location

This apartment is in a terrific location! We were in walking distance of absolutely everything! The Vatican is less than a 10 minute walk away, the Colosseum is about 25 minutes on foot, the pantheon is less than 15 minutes, and And the Trevi Fountain is about 25 minutes on foot too. There are so many great restaurants to either make a reservation at or just stop by and enjoy. Alessandro was a wonderful host, and Responded quickly to our questions, and I really appreciate his help organizing transportation to and from the airport.
