5 bedroom Eastham home + guest house, ideal for family vacations and reunions

** Thank you for considering our home for your vacation plans. During the summer, we rent from Sat-Sat. We are flexible all other times of the year.
** Important - as a courtesy we offer current year guests the right of first refusal for the same time the following year. We provide approx 2 weeks after their stay to decide. Many of our wonderful guests return year after year. We will try to keep our calendar updated but feel free to ask.
** While we love dogs, some of our guests are allergic, for that reason we are unable to accept even the most well behaved fur friends.
** For the off season, if you don't need both the main house and guest house due to smaller number of guests, please let us know. We can discuss options.

Set on a quiet lot near the National Seashore in North Eastham, this open and spacious 5 bedroom, 2 ½ bath house is perfect for family vacations, gatherings, and reunions of all kinds. Trees surround a private fenced in yard that is perfect for outdoor games or simply relaxing after a day at the beach. The main house offers beds to sleep 10 people. Your family will enjoy meals in the large open kitchen at a table big enough to seat even more. The house has plenty of overflow space within, in addition to “The Barn”, a newly renovated guest house which sleeps another 6 and has another full bath. The spacious floor plan is perfect for families to spend time together without feeling crowded both inside, in the living room and dining area, or outside on the shaded deck. As part of the Historic District of Eastham, the house maintains its 18th century charm (built in 1795) with all of the amenities and updates of a 21st century home. Both the guest house and main house have enclosed outdoor showers, air conditioning, Wifi, cable, hardwood floors, new area rugs, and updated bathrooms. The kitchen in the main house is fully stocked with all cookware necessities and dishwasher, and there is a Weber gas grill on the back deck along with a propane fire pit. There is easy access to washer and dryer on the first floor of the main house. The master bedroom suite is on the main floor with the four other bedrooms upstairs. There is ample parking for up to 6 cars.
Our home is halfway between the National Seashore (ocean) and Cape Cod Bay. There are 16 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas available for your use, so no need to pack those. This location affords direct access to the bike trail leading to Coast Guard Beach (National Seashore). There is convenient access to a bike shop for rentals or repairs. With 7 adult bikes (a rental value of over $700) available for your use, the Cape Cod Rail trail offers bikers an easy ride to mini-golf and Arnold's famous seafood. There are numerous fresh water ponds within walking / biking distance. Eastham’s newly renovated library is a great option for something to do on a non-beach day. Shell fishing equipment is waiting for you at our home – all you need is the license! Fishing and shellfish licenses can be easily obtained.
With a wide variety of opportunities for experiences including the Wellfleet Drive-in Theater (one of the last drive-in theaters), movie theater, multiple golf courses (Captains, Cranberry Valley, Highland Links), the National Seashore and its lighthouses, Truro Winery, Salt Pond Landing for shell fishing and kayaking and many choices of formal and informal dining, this spot will quickly become one of your family’s favorites.
