Beach access vacation rental home on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands within the beautiful Puget Sound off the coast of Washington State. First of four ferry stops is Lopez Island.

Looking for an upscale relaxing getaway on a unique island? Roseberry Cottage offers private beach access, spectacular water views, stunning sunsets and more. Located on a private drive and only 4 miles from town center.
Indoors are comfortable modern furnishings with a smart TV, a well -equipped kitchen and a double sink vanity bathroom that includes a washer dryer.
There are two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. The twin bedroom has the ability to convert the twin beds to a king bed.
A spacious deck offers an extended living area with outdoor modular sectional furniture. A gas barbecue is off the deck and easily accessible.

Just as lovely as my first stay

I love the peace and quiet of Lopez Island. This was my second stay at Roseberry Cottage and it was just as great as I remembered. The view is gorgeous and the place has everything you need, including a very well-stocked kitchen.

Amazing island getaway

Great place! Great property! Amazing views! This was honestly a great overall experience. If you’re looking to go to Lopez island, this is the place to get. Far enough away from other people but close enough to town for restaurants and stores. And you get an amazing view of the water as well. It really was a great overall spot to stay

Roseberry Cottage

We stayed at Roseberry Cottage in early September and enjoyed our stay. The house was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the water and is a short (but steep!) walk down some sturdy stairs to the beach. We would definitely stay again in the future.

The Roseberry cottage is simply the ideal location for a relaxing vacation on Lopez. Cyclist on hang time

A cyclist we enjoyed the slightly off the beaten track location. The central location allowed us to cycle in all directions. The kitchen amenities allowed us to bring our groceries and settle in. Rosemary was an excellent communicator and very helpful. Highly recommend this five star property.

Breathtaking view!

What a lovely cottage with a beautiful view! The home is welcoming, clean and comfortable. The deck is perfect for reading or taking a nap. The stairs to the beach are challenging but how amazing to have access to the shoreline. Every morning we saw a fawn and doe grazing on the lawn. We watched eagles and seals fish the nearby waters. The owner had excellent communication and we appreciated the early check-in.

Lovely Lopez

This is our third or fourth stay at Roseberry Cottage. The location is spectacular. The stairs are well worth the effort.... it’s the best stretch of beach on Lopez. I have taken hundreds of pictures to prove it! The house is cozy, comfortable, efficient and perfectly decorated. There is so much to love about this special place, including incredible owners.

Perfect Getaway!

This place was everything and more! So clean, so welcoming. It was like coming to a peaceful beach home. And those views! Wow! We saw multiple eagles daily and a few seals who would play in the ocean each night. The stairs are steep! But soooo worth it! It’s like your own private beach oasis :)

Cottage Stay

We have been coming to Lopez Island for over 35 years in the summer and have had the privilege of staying at various locations on the Island. The Cottage is clearly one of our favorite ones, with an amazing location, one of the most well stocked kitchens, incredible shower facilities and just so many of the little touches that make it easy to consider this one's "home away from home". We hope to come back in the coming years. Thank you.

Beautiful

Love the island, love the house. The view and beach access is exactly what I want, let me know if you want to sell it. :) Nice modern interior design hitting all the looks within a 60’s cottage. Visited with my wife and 15 month year for 4 nights. Super clean, well appointed, cozy beds, just a great trip. Location is a few minutes from town and never a long trip to trail heads, but the roads are amazing-bring a sporty car.

Enchanting location, nice house

Property exceeded our expectations. Location was both beautiful and convenient to all parts of island. Generally very well equipped, with a few gaps easily remedied (soap & shampoo for shower, salad spinner, beach towels, short on pillowcases & games/puzzles). Trouble with lockbox malfunction, hopefully replaced. Communication with owner was excellent. Loved the long beach, sturdy steps and endless sunsets framed by native fir trees. Everything we hoped for and more!

Peaceful part of a lovely island

I’m local to Seattle and I adore the calm natural beauty of Lopez Island. I came to work a few days (Wi-Fi at the house worked great) and enjoy the weekend. Two things I really found extraordinary compared to other rentals: 1) the view and the deck to enjoy it from, and 2) the well-stocked kitchen. The second was key because there are very few restaurants and they are mostly closed during the week.

Summer living at its finest

We stayed a week. Family visited for 2 days. We enjoyed the superb accommodations, the beautiful location, easy parking, beach walking, hikes, lack of traffic, and community market. It is easily our best vacation rental. We especially enjoyed spending time on the deck.

Wonderful Vacation on Lopez Island

Roseberry Cottage has awesome view of San Juan Straights, sunset; the deck is well situation and perfect. Cottage was very comfortable, very clean and fully stocked. Great location and view. Access and communication with Owner was easy and straightforward. Great place.

Absolutely delightful

We had a fabulous stay. Everything we could want was available - one of the best stocked kitchens I've found. The views and beach are stunning and they've done a great job of offering ways to enjoy them. True there are 100+ steps down to the beach, but the stairs are solid and there's a nice rest spot halfway. :) Highly recommend.

Turner and Rosemary have been long time residence of southern California. We enjoyed raising our children and now have our time. We loved Lopez and go as many times a year as we can. We love the winter with its crisp clear skies, random light snow falls, and the freshness the rain brings.

Why they chose this property

We found Lopez Island through friends who have owned a vacation home on the island for over 20 years. We came for a visit and fell in love, so much so we bought our own vacation home. Roseberry Cottage was named after a young free spirited girl that thought my name was Roseberry. When she found out my name was Rosemary she was upset. I told her I loved the name Roseberry so much that one day I would name a home Roseberry. This is how our sweet cottage was named. We spent our vacation time putting our touches on the home along with the local talent. We realized how much we loved our special place and we want others to feel the same way. We enjoy sharing our home with those who share our love of the island and how amazing it can make you feel. This is a special place.
