This is a beautiful year round house/cabin with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 1 full kitchen & partial kitchen on lower level. 150 feet of shoreline, short 8 step elevation to water with dock. Winters are fabulous too! Hundreds of miles of trails within 1 mile! Easy access.
Home is located on the Woman Lake chain just inside Girl Lake. 6,600 acres of lake for you to boat and fish. National Geographic voted Woman Lake the most beautiful lake in the world! Just 1 mile from town of Longville. Great shopping & restaurants. You can boat over to town to eat & drink. World famous Wednesday morning turtle races, Bruno the dog, The Woodpile , Mini Golf, Trails, Airport, coffee shop, grocery store & beautiful retail shops. Just 15 minutes from Hackensack for more shopping, movies and dining. Miles of trails accessed thru the Paul Bunyan Trail, Wood Tick Trail & Chippewa National Forest. Walker is just a short 25 mile drive. Northern Lights Casino, Famous Reeds Sporting Goods, tons of quaint shops & Chase on The Lake for fine dining. Piggy BBQ. The Woman Lake 6,600 acre chain has outstanding fishing for Walleye & Bass. 10 major fishing lakes within 10 miles of cabin if you want to take your boat & explore!
The main floor of the cabin has 1 larger bedroom, full bath, kitchen, dining area, large living area and walk out to the deck over looking the beautiful views of the lake.
The lower level offers 3 bedrooms, smaller living area, dining, kitchenette, full bath and walks out to the yard and lake. We have two other cabins (not on lake) for over flow rental.
Lift is not included. 1 boat can be tied up to dock space. Anything additional please inquire

Perfect Family Stay

This house on the lake is the perfect location for a family getaway. The lower level provides its own area including bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge area and kitchenette. This home was even more than we expected and very nicely decorated. Kitchen fully stocked, comfortable beds and spaces. Would definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Property

We had a great time at this beautiful lake home. The house was very comfortable and homey. The grounds were spectacular with the lake just steps from the house. I highly recommend this property and hope to return next year.

First rental we're renting again!

The weather didn't cooperate for much of our trip, but we had a great time anyway. There were places for us to squirrel away when we wanted alone time (or remote meetings time), and the living room was very comfortable for us. We also spent time on the deck outside, and on the chairs down on the grass. Even if it's too cold to swim, I need to remember to get out in the kayak right away. Clean water, clean and comfortable house, great time!

Great cabin

The cabin was well stocked and nicely decorated. Great layout with lower level kitchen area and multiple sleeping options. Nice location on the lake and easy access to the dock. We had a great time!

Fun Family Vacation

We have stayed at this lovely lake home several times now. It never disappoints. It is clean, well-stocked, and has plenty of room. The paddle boards were greatly enjoyed. Rhonda is quick to respond and very welcoming. We enjoyed a fun fishing guide trip led by Dan Ryan. Our family looks forward to this vacation every year.

Great Cabin and location

Our families stay from May 28th-31st, 2023 was a wonderful time in a great location on Woman Lake. Only 1 mi from Longville and 28 min from Walker on Leech Lake. Picturesque all the way around. Beds Very comfortable , very clean and Rhinda and husband are very helpful hosts. IF your a fisherman, Great crappie spot right from dock. Downstairs is like another complete floor w small kitchen , living laundry 3 bedrooms. Highly recommend. Thanks again to the Pahls !!! Swift family from Excelsior Mn

Comfortable stay.

The place is well set up for families with the basement being a place for the kids to set up shop for their own space if weather conditions do not allow outside activity. Lawn space to set up games. Excellent view of the lake with access to Woman Lake and close to town by boat or car. If plan on fishing and keeping your catch they do not have a place to clean fish.

March fishing trip with the buddies

Put 10 hours on the snowmobiles and some time in on the ice catching fish. It was a great location to be in for both. The stay was great, comfortable and all the amenities needed. Access to the lake from the property was not an option due to a 3-4 foot drop off at the shoreline, however there were other areas nearby. Every local we ran into was super friendly and more than willing to help with trail advice, fishing advice, or any other questions we had. Great location and house for a family or multi family trip as well if your an outdoorsman/lady. Would stay here again!

Great house in a great location

Me and my family stayed in this house for a week. The house is in a great location secluded enough but close enough to town that you can go get what you need in a timely manner. The hostess was great to deal with and the house was clean and well equipped with cooking utensils and a ho oh s charcoal grill. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. My kids are 15,10 and 3 and they all had a great time here.

Fabulous family vacation!

This lake-front house was perfect for our family of 5 adults. Plenty of room, beautiful view of the lake, all the appliances and utensils we needed, nice large screen tvs, and comfortable furniture. It exceeded our expectations. We would definitely like to rent again.

Longville Family Vacation

We had a great time at this VRBO rental. The house was just as pictured online and we appreciated all the space. The decor was nice. A few of the highlights were all the water "toys" available, well- appointed kitchen, games/books available and cleanliness of the interior. A few things that would have made our stay more enjoyable were the comfort of a couple of the mattress. The mattress on the twin bed (in the basement room with the large bed) was not good; the springs could be felt. The queen mattress in the room by itself in the basement room rolled to the center. Our main complaint was the fact that we had to take our trash home with us. There was a location in town to dispose of our recycliing, but taking all our garbage home was not good. We totally understand the problem with bears and other critters getting into garbage, but having to haul garbage, from seven people for a week, back home with us in a crowded vehicle was not ideal. Perhaps an arrangement with the campground or business in town could be made? Just a thought... We loved the Longville area and being just a few miles from town was great! Listening to the loons on the lake was so peaceful.

Vacation first stop

The property had everything we needed and if it didn’t the owner was attentive available and extremely helpful!! The kitchen had every thing I could’ve imagined! If you like to cook and have dinner the set up is amazing. There was enough room and sitting for all. The beds were comfy. I really enjoyed my stay and the conversation with Rhonda was pleasant. Our last day there our plans changed and Rhonda went above and beyond to help us out when it could’ve been a big headache. This was a stay that we will always remember!

It’s a keeper

This is our 3rd year staying here. We love everything about this property- the clean cabin, cabin decor, shaded yard, beautiful view of Girl Lake, proximity to Longville (pontoon rental at Muskie House Marine) and Walker for a little retail therapy. This cabin is a gem!

Wonderful Lake home on a beautiful lake

There were 4 couples that stayed at this lake home. From the moment we got there we were impressed. The cabin is in wonderful shape and is well maintained. The location on the lake is a quiet bay of Girl lake. There are so many things to do at the cabin, canoe, paddle board, kayak etc. the communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. We would definitely go back here again.

We have always had a dream to own a cabin up north that we could fix up, use for our family and share as a rental. We co-own the cabin with a family member, Keith Peterson. The three of us did all of the work to improve and decorate this home for rental!
Jim & Rhonda live in Mound across from Spring Park Bay on Lake Minnetonka. Rhonda is a realtor with Edina Realty & Jim owns Pahl Exteriors, LLC. Keith Peterson is a retired pipe fitter living in St. Louis Park. All three of us grew up in Bloomington, MN.

Why they chose this property

We grew up going to our grandma & grandpa's lake property on Leech Lake most of our lives. Our grandpa was a Chippewa Indian born & raised on Leech Lake. He had a bay named after him called Bungy Bay! This area has a special place in our hearts.

What makes this property unique

When we purchased this property we wanted the lake and area to be full recreational. The Woman Lake chain & Longville provide this for all. You are secluded in nature but have access to everything you need with a 1 mile distance. The lake is full of all popular MN fish species that every one enjoys!
