"The Bunkhouse" is a charming and spacious apartment situated above the most popular coffee shop in Leadville, City on a Hill Coffee & Espresso. Located in historic downtown Leadville, built in the late 1800's, some contend this is Colorado's last frontier town. The boom days of silver mining have certainly left a mark. Brick buildings painted a kaleidoscope of colors line the downtown's Harrison Avenue. Close to restaurants, shops, sporting goods, ski rentals and of course- your morning espresso and bakery. Great location for exploring nearby mountain ranges and outdoor activities. Right in the center of town. We have family of six, hard to find a hotel rooms to accommodate. It was extremely spacious with full kitchen. Would make a great “basecamp” for climbing 14er (which is what we did) or long weekend in mountains. Really wish we could have spent more time — one extra day . Highly recommend

Everything was wonderful! The coffeeshop is amazing!
We only spent 2 days in Leadville, but we really enjoyed the town. The coffeeshop below is amazing. The sandwiches and pastries were delicious. The bunkhouse is very cute and everything was clean and tidy. We didnt spend much time there but everything was exactly the way it was explained in listing. Would definitely visit again!

The location was perfect! Great access to Main St and all the shops and restaurants. Plenty of room and everything we needed was there. I ran the Silver Rush 50 miler on Sunday so this was a great place to stay! Thanks!

Very warm and cozy
It was right in downtown 20 mins from skicooper,5 mins from dutch henry tubing kids will love both... Perfect for a skiing getway. Even at temperature in teens outside inside was really good. Glad we chose this.
